Patriot LX Series Micro SD Flash Memory Card 16GB

Works great! Needed a small and cheap SD card for a PiHole and this one worked like a charm.

Aside from the fact that NAND chips are over priced at the moment.... its fine for what it is. That part isn't really patriot's fault though.

Compré estas tarjetas Patriot Micro SD porque necesitaba tener varias disponibles para diferentes equipos y sinceramente me han resultado bastante útiles. Me gustó mucho que vienen varias en el paquete, porque así puedo dejar una en cada dispositivo y no estar cambiándolas de un lado para otro. Hasta ahora los equipos las han reconocido sin ningún problema y he podido guardar fotos, videos y otros archivos normalmente. Para el uso que les estoy dando, la velocidad me ha parecido buena y no he tenido inconvenientes con archivos que desaparezcan o con tarjetas que dejen de funcionar de repente. Por el precio y la cantidad que incluye el paquete, siento que fue una buena compra. Si necesitas varias Micro SD para uso diario y no quieres gastar demasiado comprándolas individualmente, estas son una alternativa que definitivamente consideraría nuevamente.

For the price its not a bad product if youre ok with potentially having 4/5 work properly. One of the SD Cards arrived with only ~100mb free space and is useless. The other 4 cards worked as expected.

La memoria es bastante buena para su precio ,para almacenamiento extra. Esta memoria no es la mejor para cámaras. Pero para almacenar por ejemplo en un tablet es óptima. Cumple con lo que promete.

August 10th -- Unfortunately, this came under 64gb, it was not even over 60gb. It came with close to 56gb total memory. I find that a lack of 8 gigs is a bit concerning and perhaps leaching has occurred. August 17th update: I received another one of these and same issue, no where near 64gb. The new card only had 54gb on it, less than the first one. I feel these are leaching out memory and may be old chips that need to be replaced for new stock.

I used f3write/f3read to test all five of these 64GB MicroSD cards the day they arrived. The cards appear to be legit (actual size matches reported size, f3read reports no corrupted files), with usable free space on the provided exFAT fs reported as 59.49GiB. Performance (on sequential large files) is not bad: Average write speed 23.69MiB/s (so it takes just under 45 minutes to fill one up with data) Average read speed 92.32MiB/s (roughly 10 minutes to read the entire ~60GiB contents) Clearly they can't hold a candle to a high-end card, especially on write speed, but they are easily fast enough to record compressed 1080P video or they should work nicely as boot devices for Raspberry Pis, or any similar role where read speed is more important than writing. I had a lot of trouble getting the cards seated properly in my USB3 reader. It would often take more than one try to get a card to show up as a connected storage device. One of my cards initially wouldn't work at all after five attempts to seat it in my USB3 reader, but it did show up just fine when I used a Micro-to-SD adapter and plugged it into an older USB2 SD card reader. I first tried polishing the contacts, in case of contamination causing a poor connection, but that did not seem to help. I thought the cards might be slightly off dimensionally, causing poor contact, so I measured them. As it turns out the problem card is just a bit smaller than most other MicroSD cards I've got: The end with the contacts is 9.682mm by 0.714mm. The three other-brand cards I checked for comparison were all a bit larger, averaging 9.710mm by 0.729. I added a single strip of cellophane tape to the top side (opposite the metal contacts) of the problem card, increasing the overall thickness of the business-end to a total of 0.743mm. This enabled the card to connect properly to my USB3 reader and pass its test with no further issues, though it seemed marginally slower than the others (average 20.87MiB/s), which may indicate that it's still having occasional communication issues. At least all of the data was written and read-back successfully. I haven't taken a star off for this, because this only seems to be a problem with one card in that one particular reader. YMMV.

Sie ist vielleicht nicht die schnellste oder modernste Karte, aber sie bietet genug Leistung, um ihre Aufgabe zufriedenstellend zu erfüllen. Vier Sterne für eine Speicherkarte, die genau das tut, was sie soll, ohne den Geldbeutel zu sehr zu belasten. Zum Hauptteil gehört natürlich auch ein toller Schluss. Und sind Sie nicht gestorben, so … NEIN, das war ganz was anderes. Weshalb fallen Rezensionen teilweise unterschiedlich aus? Das ist eine gute Frage!? Es gibt nun mal verschiedene „Rezensionisten“. Darunter z. B. den „Nörgler“, wenn nur eine Funktion oder Kleinigkeit abweicht oder nicht seinen persönlichen Vorstellungen entspricht, ist das ganze Produkt „Schrott“. Dann gibt es natürlich auch noch den „Lobpreisenden“, alles ist toll, das Produkt kann quasi alles. Seine Euphorie steht über allem und es gibt stets volle Punktzahl. Welcher „Rezensionist“ bin ich? Bewertungen beruhen nun mal auf den eigenen Erfahrungen mit dem Produkt.
