- Men's Cliffside Utility Synthetic Pant

The Wrangler ATG Synthetic Utility Pants have quickly become one of my favorite pairs for both outdoor activities and everyday wear. The material is lightweight but tough, with just enough stretch to stay comfortable whether I’m hiking, working, or on the move all day. They breathe well and don’t feel heavy, even in warmer weather. The pockets are actually functional without being bulky, and the fit is modern without being too tight. I also like how fast they dry — great if you get caught in the rain or sweat a bit. If you want durable, comfortable pants that can handle the outdoors but still look good enough for casual wear, these are an easy recommendation.

Great product, very comfortable and feel fairly durable. Stretch in the pockets is nice, I have large hands and like to keep things like a pocket knife and flashlight attached to the pockets of my pants. The stretch definitely helps with still being able to fit a hand down in the pocket. The material is not overly thick, bit it feels like it should hold up over time. The pants also seem to fit pretty true to size. Glad I purchased these, and will be ordering another pair.

Relaxed fit, has sone give and fabric is smooth and comfortable. As a big guy I appreciate a good fitting pant that only needs a belt and won't strangle anything below the belting. These pants provide the room and don't chafe. The bonus pocket is okay for something flat but like any thigh levels pockets if it's not soft it will bang against the leg. The fabric is lightweight and definitely water repelling to some degree as a dishwashing incident I had proved out. They are also quick drying. I would not consider these pants cold weather, but few pants are made for that, and fewer of those could stand to be inside, so realistically the give and other qualities in these ATG pants make them ideal for daily wear in and out of doors.

Almost perfect! These pants are great for the most part. Great for fishing and outdoor activities. Comfortable and quick drying synthetic pants with the right amount of stretch for the active lifestyle. The zippered cargo pocket is just large enough for current ProMax size phones. Like I said before “almost perfect”. The only problem I see with these is the back pockets. The back pocket doesn’t have zippers or enclosures. The synthetic material is super slick and with no enclosures they become unusable. Especially, if you’re an outdoors type. My hope is they will update these with zippers and add a more modern back pocket design. All and all, these are great pants! I now have a couple of pairs.

Overall: These pants are great for indoor work, as they are light, breathable and flexible. I think they would also be great for outdoor work, but I want to stress that they are both lightweight and breathable. The weather around here makes these pants best suited for indoor (or mostly indoor) work. Shrinkage: No shrinkage noticed. Functionality: Very good. Love the low right pocket. Length: Maybe a bit long? All my pants are 32 inseam. These are 32, but seem a bit long. Not a dealbreaker.

My husband loves these pants! I got them for him when they had them on sale. They fit him well, are comfortable, don’t lose their shape, & dry super fast (so he doesn’t freeze outside if he gets wet during the day). They’re lightweight, so I’m curious to see how well they keep him cool in the summer. He is VERY hard on his pants, so I’m also curious how they hold up. But I bought him 3 pair about a month ago, so far so good. I’m not sure what other things men look for in pants so I don’t know what else to report on, other than they are NOT too huggy…if that makes sense, lol. I don’t actually remember how much he weighs, so ignore the weight thing! He is like 5’8” & got the 33” inseam, which is perfect. He has a very minimal sized belly, if that helps anyone.

Solid fit,durability is awesome, the material thickness on the doubled knees are very noice, the tapering of the pants are nice for mobility, they definitely get a little warm in the heat but nice in the winter and add some good base layers and it's not bad at all in the snow. Haven't experienced any shrinking after washing. The little stash pocket is pretty solid and the zipper is so smooth enough for one handed operation. A solid utility pant you have to try. I did get one size bigger for a tad looser fit

I'll give them a five for comfort and fit. But one star for durability--the fabric pills after a couple uses as many others have commented. I had nine pairs, but returned three within the return window due to premature wear. After about six months of use, the six pair I still have are thoroughly pilled and hold onto sawdust and outdoor chaff like velcro. Something is clearly wrong with the fabric formulation. But they are darn comfortable. I will look for an alternative on my next batch of work/adventure pants.

Bought one. Wanted it to be a straight fit like how it appears on the images but it’s relaxed fit. See some of the stitches protruding as well. Doesn’t look like it is of ATG Wrangler quality. Disappointed.

Maravilhosa. Ficou perfeita, inclusive a barra. O corte e reto, a cintura e um pouco mais alta do que as jeans que compro aqui, o tecido dela e super leve, muito confortavel e ela e elegante e bonita. As medidas a escolher na tabelinha estao em polegadas, tem que observar isto.

I use these for work primarily due to functionality. They have plenty of decent pockets, the leg pocket has a zip so my phone goes in there. They're flexible as my sizing can fluctuate depending on the current level of my lazyboneitus and the crotch is reinforced. The amount of crothces I go through on trousers is astounding (I must have radioactive testes). Finally they're water repellent. I often work in the community walking around or using my bike and the British weather can be unpredictable and rainy during summer so these will suffice. If I need to put my waterproofs on I will but for the sake of a quick cloudburst these will do. I bought a bigger waist which has given me more room but I have had to take the leg up as they were too long (using hemming web). I have 3 pairs now. Two black, one of which is elasticated so convenient for walking or just dossing around and these. Think I will get the grey pair next.
