DAP White Silicone Door, Siding and Window Sealant 9.8 oz.

I'm not a huge home improvement guy or great with DIY projects but I needed this sealant to help cover up some holes in my baseboards. This worked perfectly for the job and I still have a lot of sealant left for future work. Great product.

This product comes out nicely and looks good but is hard to work with. I was very upset upon using this product to find out that the nozzle was cracked at the base therefore caulking was coming out of the cut tip as well as the crack and getting all over the caulk gun (I was only able to use maybe half or less of the product since most of it was oozing out of the crack). It was a big mess. So, just make sure when you get this product that you check for any cracks before using it.

So I bought this thinking (like an idiot) that I could just open it and squeeze. I hope you get a kick out of what happened next: Once I cut the tip off, then put a hole (as the directions indicated) in the seal (I used a screwdriver to puncture the inner seal because I had to find something long and thin enough to go through the top hole), then squeezed and the plastic bottom popped right off. It's also extremely hard to squeeze out. I had to go hand over hand (I'm a woman, but I have decently strong hands) to put enough pressure to get the sealant to make a steady stream. I had to stop, because to get the sealant out of the top while also manually trying to keep the bottom from continually popping off was just too hard. The product itself was already clumping by the time I was smoothing it 3 seconds after applying. I found that really frustrating. I gave 1 star because of this. Suffice to say, I am a fool. First, for thinking that it was a squeeze tube...second for it not occuring to me that perhaps it wasn't supposed to be used like a squeeze tube if it took so much effort to NOT work. lol Sorry for the 1 star rating. However, hope it has you at least laughing. Yes, sometimes I can be this stupid... just sometimes.

It's truly white and works just how you want it to.

I've used this sealant before and it's great but unfortunately the one I received was already hardened so I couldn't use it. Air must've gotten into it somehow and I received a dud.

it's good for a single use. but even if you block off the nozzle, it'll dry out if you want to reuse it.

Completamente seco, si estaba sellado pero al momento de hacer el corte y ponerlo en la pistola calafateadora no salió nada. Y si, si rompí el sello de aluminio.

Easy to work with, clean up, and keep using after the tip hardened.
