Fleet Adult Glycerin Suppositories 50-Count (2-Pack)

My old reliable remedy for quick, daily BMs. These arrived on time and in pristine condition with foil intact. I take one dulcolax at bedtime and apply one fleet suppository in the morning, then one after dinner or until I've emptied again. I use the handle end of a toothbrush to gently push the suppository up a few inches into my rectum. I always buy the 50-count jars. Good price, least expensive laxative that works the quickest.

Just what I needed

I use them when I am constipated, and I need a little help to have a bowl movement. They work fast!

Normally most people won't want to write a review for a product like this due to embarrassment but I thought I would to help people out. I try to take care of myself but find that using the bathroom can be a problem at times. I've been cutting down on coffee and without it, sometimes things just don't move along. These do work and sometimes within 5 minutes. Sometimes longer. I realize that some people may be on medications that cause constipation but if you're not and there are no reasons for the problem except your diet, work on changing it and start drinking a lot of water. I think these are great but should be a temporary solution if your food regimen is the culprit. I would recommend using latex gloves with these. I've seen other brands that are more expensive and there's no need to get them. These are priced really well. It's better than taking pills. But....as I said, if it's your diet, just use them until you can get your system going naturally with the right foods and exercise.
