Does the job. The material catches most of the litter, with minimum litter tracking. Small enough to not get in the way.

I only have a single cat, and this works pretty well. Make sure you place most of the mat in front of the litter box so the extra litter on paws can stick to mat. I also suggest diligence with vacuuming the litter regulatory- the mat makes it easy to hand vacuum litter out. I've tried several mats. The last one was a popular mat that had holes on top to catch litter on the mat underneath. That one sucked, my cat didn't like the texture so rarely stepped on it, and when she had accidents and peed on edge of litter box it was virtually impossible to clean that mat. There was no way to clean the pee trapped in the holes. With this mat you can spray enzyme cleaner and it reaches all surfaces. Also, the texture isn't as irritating for my kitty. I highly recommend.

Tracking in my house has decreased since i’ve bought this mat. It’s also so easy to clean i can just shake it out in a bag or outside. Necessary for small spaces and to keep the litter area clean.

We have 2 large litter boxes in our garage that our 2 large cats access from a pet door. We were constantly sweeping &/or using a leaf blower to keep the loose litter from accumulating, walking through it, making its way into the house…At first I was afraid it would be hard to get the litter out of the “webbing”. But most can be “poured” back into the litter boxes. It’s even heavy enough to be vacuumed. It’s soft, not “prickly” like some styles, so the cats will step onto it rather than jump over it. Minimizes clean up in the area. Note that we’re using 2 mats overlapping in the photo.Update July, 2023 - All of my original comments stand. I will note, however, that our garage can get very hot in the late afternoon summer heat when the sun shines directly on the garage doors for several hours. This morning when my husband changed the litter boxes the mats were stuck to the concrete floor. I was not present, but he stated that the first one started to stick but came up ok. The second one, however, was so stuck that it fell apart trying to pick it up. I was not present to "witness" this. But I can still see some of the material stuck to the garage floor (just not cleaned up yet), and one of the mats is in shreds. Apparently the material is not resistant to very high temperatures. In the future I will put some type of fabric between the mat & the concrete (an old towel, sheet...). Otherwise, we are still pleased with how it minimizes scattered litter for us. And we still find it to be easily cleanable. Our cats had been declawed when we adopted them, so they don't scratch. They have never urinated on it but sometimes do miss when they poop. We can still shake much of the litter out and remove more with the vacuum. We don't expect to get 100% out. Apparently our cats are are just not very messy in the litter boxes. We've had others that were, though.

I like this, it is durable so far - the only caveat is that it is not machine washable which is inconvenient when i have to clean a mess off of it and have to bathtub showerhead, as hosing it off outdoors in ND in the winter is a no go.

My cat has been seen playing with, and eating hair ties/elastics. I read reviews..that said there’s cat(s) we’re eating the edges. Mine has done it for my attention. Although now stared to do the same-eat the material wound up (the pattern) of the carpet. Strange. She doesn’t do that my doormat or any other cloth carpeting in my apartment. Looks like a rubber mat or regular carpet.
