Great to read to a younger child
I read this book (along with "I Was a Third Grade Spy" and "A Dog on His Own" - both books by the same author) to my 5 year old son. We BOTH enjoyed the books so much. 8 yr. old grandson. an avid reader. loves the story-says he will keep it in mint condition & read ad infinitum!

Very Humorous and age appropriate!
My son and I read this together and laughed at various parts as we enjoyed the plot and anticipated the resolution! He started 3rd grade this year and was able to connect to the events in the story. Very humorous!

End-of-the-school-year book for my 2nd grade class!
Loved the book. Used it as a novel study with as an end of the school year project! I created a comprehension packet. It took about 2 weeks. Most of my students really enjoyed this book!
