20V MAX SDS Plus 1 Inch Cordless Rotary Hammer with D-Handle, Bare Tool Only (DCH133B)

I bought this rotary hammer to use specifically for chipping concrete and mortar and boy was i surprised. To start off with this thing has the power of a corded tool without the hassle of a cord and ive used many other corded options. I used this tool to chip concrete for about 2 hours with the only breaks being about 5 minutes long to change batteries or let it cool off. It wore me out before it got tired lol. It seems to be a durable tool with how dirty I got it and how hot it gets but only time will tell with the durability, i am a diyer and home owner so i wont use it every day but just on the work i was able to get done with it i would say i got my moneys worth. I cant say enough positive things about this tool but I do have a couple negatives. I get that its a rotary hammer and its gonna have vibration but this thing hurts to use for long periods of time. It also weighs a little more than a corded which also in turn will wear you out pretty quick but i think it only weighs more due to the 8ah powerpack batteries I used which have a decent battery life with this hammer. As I mentioned earlier this thing gets hot with prolonged use but its down by where the handle connects to the hammer so you dont feel the heat unless you grab it down there. I would buy this again if I had to but hopefully I wont ever have to again with the 3 year warranty lol. I haven't used it for drilling holes in concrete yet but this thing punches like a truck so I can imagine it would be great for drilling large and small holes in concrete.

This tool works very well drills holes with impacting also can be used as a chipping hammer. I’ve used this on cement drills right into it no problem. I’ve used the chipping hammer to chip up old cement, rocks, etc. no problem. This is a tool. I wish I would’ve bought 10 years ago. I would recommend it.

Very impressed with this DEWALT rotary hammer. It has plenty of power and makes drilling into concrete much easier and faster. I really like the cordless design because I can use it anywhere without worrying about extension cords. It feels solid, well-built, and comfortable to handle. The battery life is also very good. Overall, it’s a great tool and I would definitely recommend it.

bought this back in Oct.and I wish I would have bought it sooner! I use it to loosen the ground for my wife's plants and for trenching in Az. The ground is hard as rock and was using a pick axe with mixed results. I have also used it as a masonry block drill and works well for that too. light weight compared to rentals. has held up well very happy with Dewalt tools!

Let me tell you something. I've used Hilti and Milwaukee at work all the time. I bought this for jobs around the house and I absolutely fell in love with it. It's powerful,balanced, and durable. Well worth it if you do concrete drilling around the house.

Wish I had one of these 20 years ago. You will need good Dewalt batteries with a higher amp hour rating for best results. You won’t be disappointed

Awesome tool, so much better then melting bits on an impact driver. This thing cuts through concrete so easily. It's changed how I pour concrete and install posts now.

Very powerful - decent weight to it- comes with a handle for better control.
