Whitmor Hanging Boot File - Hanging Storage for Men's and Woman's Boots - 3 Pair

I absolutely love this thing. I mean seriously. If you are like me (before this product) you have purses shoved together on the top shelf of your closet - jammed in there and - lets face it - it's sad. I spend a lot of money on my purses and I just didn't know how else to store them. They were so piled up, I couldn't even see what I had and appreciate it! I purchased one of these little beauties just to see if it would help with the situation. It was so fantastic, I ordered a second one. Now, I have all of my handbags stored respectably. Also, how big are these bags that other people are referring to in these reviews?!?!? I only ordered one of these to begin with because I hesitated due to all of those comments regarding having to shove your bag into the compartments because they weren't big enough. All I have to say to that is "what. ev. ER." I carry mostly Coach hobo's or tote bags, the large Vera tote bags, the Coach satchels and signature purses, or large leather shoulder bags. All of them fit in fine, with the exception of one extra large Vera tote (we are talking about a tote bag big enough to pack for a weekend away!) I had zero problems whatsoever with the size of the compartments. Other reviews are correct, there are no sides. This is just clear pouch action all the way. This sucker was a little on the heavy side when full (the only downside I could even come up with.) I have one of these hanging just inside my closet and the other hanging on the actual closet rod - it really made a difference in my less-than-stellar-in-size closet. I feel so organized and now I can access my purses easily and quickly (hey - maybe that's why there aren't sides!! ;)) If you have a lot of purses, order two or more - it only fits 8 easily.

I needed a solution to my boot storage and saw this hanging boot storage. It’s great! It holds 3 and includes one set of boot inserts. Fits neatly and compactly in my closet. Love it! I’m definitely going to get more to replace the hive boot boxes.

This is space saver and helps organize and securely store women boots.

It’s basic, but it works perfectly for what I needed it to do. I wanted to keep my flats and sandals organized and off the floor of my closet. The hook is sturdy and the slots hold a pair of normal sized sandals/flats. There was only a slight plastic smell, but that went away quickly. A good purchase.

I bought 2 of these, love love love them, i use them for my purses, umbrella, duffle bags etc, i am able to fit so much into them the vinyl is strong and very well made, lightweight but sturdy and glad i bought them, highly recommend them, it takes up so much less space, the clear vinyl is great for seeing where things are, easy to fit items into, i have so many purses in them as well as 2 large vera bradley duffles, a large vera bradley straw beach purse, a large vera bradley weekender bag, all my dooney and bourke purse collections, umbrella, cosmetic bags, a very large cole haan bag, i cannot say enough i wish i had this item long ago, i can see this being used for sweats, or work out clothing rolled and stacked for a travel hanging organizer, to just roll your clothes and then hang it when you arrive etc.. wonderful wonderful.. love it, did i say i love it enough !! get it you wont be sorry.. sturdy and tons of storage, large purses do fit into these large pockets, i have a large dooney and bourke bucket bag and they are heavy and large.. as well as all of the large vera bradley duffles.. just great

The durability of this handbag file is good a year later. There are no rips, tears, or weaknesses at all, and I have it OVERLOADED with leather handbags--a heavy load. So if longevity is your goal, this is a good purchase. However, I'll be trying a cloth organizer for two reasons. First, I CANNOT keep the handbags from spilling out onto the floor. Aside from constantly refiling them and getting them dusty, I share the closet with my husband, and he buys me some of those for special occasions. It gives the appearance of not valuing his gifts. Second, my favorite handbags are the painted Anuschkas. Although most come with cloth bag protectors, I've seen the unbagged ones beginning to stick to the plastic, imperiling the hand-painted designs on the leather. If you're storing any leather bag for a long period, I wouldn't want to take the chance. Why don't they make these organizers at least with closed backs so you can store the purses in a deep pocket?

I bought several of these to use as easy storage for my larger handbags. These work great and seem well made. I was able to put up to 3 medium sized (empty!) bags into some of the pockets. (If you hang this, like I do, on the back of a door, the first 2 pockets on the backside may only be able to handle 1 medium sized bag, each.) As for my larger bags, I was able to put 1 or 2 in each pocket. Some of my large totes, however, didn't fit well at all or without being crushed up. In all, it's still a great way to organize medium to larger bags. (I'm using the flip flop file to store smaller bags, clutches and evening bags.) While you can hang them inside the closet on the rod, I've decided to hang mine on the outside of the closet doors, with a metal over-the-door hook. (Look for the longer metal hook. That way, you just twirl the file round, without trouble to see the back side or to remove and rehang it.... since it can get heavy when full.)

Love these!! At first glance I thought it would be too short for tall boots but they fit perfectly. Decent quality and saves so much space! I bought one to try it out and I’ll definitely be buying more.

All my purses have a place to go now! The rack looks very lovely hanging in my closet. I was worried it would look cheap, but the quality is very nice and it is able to hold quite a bit. The translucent pockets are what make this so great compared to traditional purse organizers that have hooks because I can fit large clutches in here as well. Also, while this is a purse rack, it does struggle to hold handbags, and won't be able to fit anything larger. It's great for side bags and clutches and the sort. Because the pocket is open from the front and back to provide the most flexibility, you do have to be be careful about bags falling out the back. I've had this for several months though and that only happened once when I pushed a bag out by mistake, so it should be a non-issue.
