I bought the Calibrite ColorChecker because I was tired of guessing at color. After using it, I can say it does exactly what it is supposed to do. It is not flashy, and it is not magic, but it gives you a known reference point so you can stop chasing your tail with white balance, skin tones, and overall color correction. What I like most is consistency. That is really the value here. Cameras, lighting, and software can all shift color just enough to make things look wrong, and trying to fix that by eye is a good way to waste time. This gives me a solid baseline to work from, which makes setup and correction far more predictable. The product itself is straightforward and easy to use. If you already understand why color accuracy matters, then this makes immediate sense. If you do not, it may seem like just a card with colored squares on it. But in actual use, it is a very practical tool. It helps take the guesswork out of calibration. The only real caution is that this is a reference tool, not an automatic fix. It will not compensate for bad lighting, poor camera settings, or a weak workflow. You still need to know what you are doing, at least at a basic level. But if your goal is accuracy and repeatability, it is absolutely worth having. Overall, I am really pleased with it. For anyone serious about getting dependable color instead of eyeballing everything and hoping for the best, this is a worthwhile tool.

Works great with vector scope to help adjust images from two different brand cameras.

I have used this for a while now and it has held up great. I store it in the sleeve it came in. Accurate color options. I use it to set white balance.

Pros: I like the color reproduction. Cons: No basic hard case for it. Difficult to use vs. other color checkers. Conclusion: Too expensive for what it is. With a hard case? Sure. See Also: I did not return it.

Works great! The larger size is great for video. Makes it easy to match footage from different cameras. If you are doing video production you nee this.

This is a tool that I use to automatically adjust primary color correction in post. Add in whatever secondary adjustments you need and your "look" and you're golden. No expensive LUTs required. Great for matching cameras of differing manufacture too!

If you care about the colors in your video you need this! I have the large one and also the passport in my travel bag. Never shoot without it! May buy another as a spare.
