I used it on an infra red grill, steaming oysters. It's supposed to be oven safe to 450 degrees, but I had three pans rotating with a mean temperature of 550. The handles were kinda useless, but otherwise these pans are now part of my oyster grilling kit.

Can I use on gas stove top to make gravy?

I think you can. I have only used in the oven to make sausage and peppers.
