What size double din radio should i get to fitperfect

DIN is actually a standard size for car radios originally established by the German Standards Institute (DIN) so a double-DIN head unit would just be double this (similar to having 1 radio on top of another). Any double-DIN unit should do just fine; be sure to inform your dealer about the Metra so they would know where you intend to use it.

If I install this, is it possible to put a single din head unit on the botton portion? A flip out for example

Yes you can. I ran a dedicated dvd on the bottom with a pop out display on the top portion for years. 2 standard head units will fit double din. If it's the climate control section I doubt you can.
