Fun family game

I bought this for a game night I was hosting at my place and it was the most fun of all the games we played that night. I bought it on a whim because it looked promising but I knew if it turned out to be a bust, I had plenty of other trusted games to fall back on. None of my guests had even heard of it but by a few prompt cards in, we were hooked and we didn’t play anything else till the night was over despite there being other unplayed games. The key to enjoying this game is making sure the players are close friends or at least are pretty comfortable with each other. I don’t see you enjoying it otherwise. Also, ditch the rules in the rulebook, they are complicated and unnecessarily tedious. The beauty of this game is that all it is are voting cards and prompts cards and you can customize it to fit your group. We played it like so: - When the question card is read, everyone places a voting card face down in the center (to keep votes anonymous) - Whoever read the question card tallies the votes. Whoever gets the most votes gets a point. If you get the most votes AND also voted yourself, you get 3 points (this only works if you’re not keeping the votes anonymous) -If you ARE keeping it anonymous, pass the stack of voted cards around the room. When it gets to you, take back the card you voted with. This is so that nobody knows who voted for who. Of course the last person in the card-return chain will always have whoever was right before them know who they voted for but we had a player who was perfectly fine with it. She found it hilarious in fact because she didn’t really care about her votes being anonymous. So essentially, only the bravest of hearts should be at the end of the chain. Some of the question cards are duds but there are enough good ones for a fun night. I will be purchasing the extension pack Last tip, it helps to have very funny friends :)

I love this game for the most part. Just be aware, before gifting this to a religious person, morally upstanding individual, your parents, or kids, you will need to toss 30+ cards to avoid several awkward moments...and yes, I counted the cards. Awesome concept of a game though! I thought the listing said 13+, but the box says 17+, and for good reason. Make an informed purchase.

I have just about every game and this game is super fun. I haven't laughed this hard playing a board/ card game in a while. This is best for a group of adults. Some of the cards are very mature in nature. Its more fun when most of the group knows each other. I just got this game and I played this twice with two groups of people. The second time I played half the people knew each other and half did not. So everyone went around saying three things about themselves, their profession, a flaw, and an attribute. This seemed to work well in terms getting a sense of people's personalities. We played for so long that now I am buying the expansion packs. Everyone wanted to know where they could buy it. This is definitely a good icebreaker. Its simple to learn and its fun.

I bought this game to play with a close group of friends for our annual Christmas party and it was a hit! we all know each other very well and it was pretty funny how on some rounds it would be a unanimous vote yet on others when the phrase would fit more than one person it would be a split and other times it was all over the board! We also got the NSFW expansion pack (actually that was all we initially played with) and are looking forward to playing it again for our New Years Eve party. This game is great for groups who know each other really well and also for getting to know other well, what are you waiting for, add this game to your collection of card type games, you'll love it!

Played it at a friends and had to buy it! Hosted a game night at my place and we ended up only playing this game the whole night. So much fun and everyone laughs throughout it all. Great to see who you know well and even for those you don’t, you get to know! Seriously probably the best game

My teens play a lot of games with friends, so I thought this would be perfect based on Amazon’s age recommendation of 13+. After they opened it, though, we were surprised at the adult content of some of the cards. That’s when I noticed the box actually says 17+. They played after I removed all of the adult cards and it was a fun game, but Amazon should correct their info.

One of my favourite games to play when im drinking with my friends! I bedazzled mine and im obsessed with how it looked on my coffee table! Highly recommend giving it a try!

Played with other family members and the game was a hit. Led to more questioning around why one voted for the other. The winner of the points may ultimately think he/she is the actual loser since everyone else voted for them for non-flattering things. Overall, a great way to spend time with family and friends and discover more on how others think about you.
