Are these useful for reverse parking and seeing the parking lines without having to alter the side mirrors

Yup, this mirrors have been a GREAT help when my wife was learning how to drive, specially reverse parking. It has pivoting base so you can move the mirror at your convenience. It's a convex mirror so the lines and side of the car would appear curved yet easy to decode.
