I had my doubts but after spraying about 400ml of the 500ml bottle around every possible entry point to my flat (I have extremely severe arachnophobia), I have stopped finding spiders running around, and have started finding their dead bodies everywhere instead. The poison takes about 30 seconds to a minute to kill spiders if it hits them directly, and clearly a few minutes if they walk across it. I could never cope when a live spider ran away and got ‘lost’ behind something, but now I feel more confident that they will only be running away to die, not lay eggs or lie in wait for me to be having a bad day so they can run out and trigger a mental breakdown…Don’t forget vents, extractor fans, gaps around windows etc. as they seem to thrive when these spaces are left unguarded. I suspect some bad reviews are from less thorough spraying of this stuff, as it clearly works very well when it’s sprayed in heavy doses.Only thing to be aware of is that it can irritate your throat if you spray a huge amount in an unventilated space; well, it irritated mine. But only for a couple days, and I would rather struggle with breathing than be stuck with rampant spider breeding!

Haven’t seen a spider since I sprayed into the cupboard where it was but time will tell

Does what it says on the tin.Doesn't kill everything instantly but it does a wonderful job at keeping spiders out all year round

I have never had to use this yet but damn it feels good to know it is in my cupboard.

We have an oak framed extension which is the perfect home for spiders. with very high ceilings and lots of areas for spiders I was getting fed up of cleaning webs almost every day. I don't spray this product directly onto spiders as tbh, that's just crawl. So I removed all the spiders and then used this spray in all the areas they liked to go. One thing I noticed is, it made all my family's noses run like we had hay fever. This now means I'm basically banned from using it in the house by my wife. Apart from the allergy like symptoms it gives people, it seems to have stopped any spiders coming back and our extension has been 95% spider free for the last 2 weeks. It's just a shame about the side effects.

I've a lot of bushes in my garden which is surrounded by a massive hedge and spiders love them, whereas I hate spiders. From October on they loved to come into my home, and when I wss in bed reading and the only light came from my tablet sitting right up close to me. All of a sudden, I'd see one appear in front of me hanging down from the ceiling. It was always one of the ones with the small body and big long legs that I think is going to get into my mouth, bite my tonsils and kill me.In the past I'd scream which would waken up my husband so he couldv deal with it. but it usually scurried back up to the ceiling and soon disappeared before he was out of bed.Three years ago I discovered this spray, and since then, every month, I'ts been sprayed around all the window frames, and anywhere I think they might get in and I haven't had a spider in since.As I haven't had a spider in I haven't had to kill one. But my daughter has a summer house in hrr garden and because the doors on it are left open they tend to get into it.. She's not a fan of them either, so she keeps a bottle of Nope! In the summer house and as soon as she sees a spider she gives it a couple of squirts which kills them in seconds.This spray isn't sticky and doesn't stain. It has a slight odour to it which is actually quite pleasant.I don't know how it works, but it does, and I can now lie in bed with my tablet knowing there'll be no more killer spiders appearing in front of me.If you want to prevent spiders getting in, or you want,to kill them, then buy Nope!

When i started using had no spiders

I'd give this zero stars if I could. We have two CCTV cameras that are being constantly triggered by spiders. Both cameras and surrounding areas, all nooks and crannies have been sprayed with this, more than once. The spiders walk straight through it, it has no effect on them whatsoever. Total waste of money in our particular circumstances.
