I am a Reiki practitioner and constantly looking for affordable accoutrements to add to my toolbox. All of the equipment I use in my practice is of the upmost importance. Whenever clients see these bowls, they're drawn to them. Not only are they beautiful artistically, but whenever practice with them, the singing bowl quality and sound is ever so pleasant to hear. They are just the right size so I can transport them to events, and the sound is never compromised. They are a functional for bringing peace with the pleasing sound they emit, but they're affordable and elegant to the eye.

Am I an expert? No. But did I sleep at a Holiday Inn Express and visit a nearby metaphysical shop that gave me a few tips and tricks? You bet I did! This is an amazing value for a high quality set that gives you everything you need to get started. They are well made with quality materials, fit well in the palm of my hand and were easy and to use.

These singing bowls are gorgeous and easy to use. I find them to be louder and have a longer duration/higher vibration if I hold them in my hand rather than sitting the bowl on the small pillow that came with the package. The sounds that these bowls make are beautiful, and the vibration is intense once the bowls are warmed up. It took me a day or so to get the ringing pattern down and the vibration that I was seeking, so do be patient with yourself. Remember that when you are using the mallet to ensure that it does have contact with the bowl as you circle the edge. As well, I found it useful to ensure that you are using arm motions when using the mallet, rather than wrist movements to manipulate it around the bowl. The only thing that prevented me from giving this 5 stars is that the felt on the mallet has already started to smooth after just a few days of use. I have already placed an order for additional mallets as I will be using the singing bowls multiple times a day for meditation. Overall i am very pleased with this purchase.

Great beginner bowls. Well packaged and was able to get them to sing right away. I did polish the rim with fine steel wool and then a metal polish. I rim them with the leather only and not the wood handle. Very resonate. Mine came tuned exactly at 670hz for the large and 725hz for the small. Tibetan singing bowls are actually a western invention but the healing effects of sound frequencies is real. Just playing these for 5 minutes can help with energy alignment and reduce anxiety and stress.

These item do not sing. I need clearer instructions on how to make them sing.

These are cute little singing bowls. They have a nice tone. it sounds like a doorbell when I hit the large one then the small one. I got these bowls to be an interesting item to get classroom attention with a pleasant sound. apparently it isn't pleasant to everyone because one sixth grader said "Oh god, it makes horrible noises!" It didn't take long to learn to make it sing. The students had a harder time figuring it out though. The smaller they are the harder it is to make them sing. I have a big 7 inch bowl and it's super easy to get it to sing.

Image shown doesn’t match the actual product, 2 bowls received that too in a very small size. There was no sound at all. Rimmer sent with the bowls was used and shattered. For healing purpose it’s not something you would like to have, for a piece of decoration one can consider

It took a little while to arrive, however prompt communication managed expectations on when the parcel was to arrive. The singing bowls have an amazing sound that grows in volume and rise and fall in pitch. Very restful with no real effort. Great value for money.

These bowls are nice and small so you can hold them if you wish. Beautiful sound. Will make a great Christmas gift.
