My kids have a saucer tree swing that came with cheap little spring clips. After the first OEM clip broke and the manufacturer was no help in getting a replacement, I found these. These spring clips are thick and sturdy. 3 out 4 of the original clips broke, so these have been a lifesaver. My kids would have been very sad if I had to throw away their swing, but these clips have extended the life for years to come.

Worked for my intended purpose. I would like them better if they had a bit more springiness when mashed tighter together. They lose some of their springiness if pressed too tightly together. The tube I was placing them in was 1/2". They probably wouldn't have the same issue in a larger tube. I ordered the black ones and they look very good with my application. Overall, they function well and should hold up for several years. Installation is relatively easy. I used a stiff piece of wire and pushed them into place. Had to go slow until aligned with hole I wanted the button to pop out of. Once there, I used the end of stiff wire I had bent a short 90 degree bend on and pressed the spring steel of the button clip through the small hole , until it lay flat and caused button to point straight up. I then pushed button into tube slightly farther from the end till it popped into place. These button portion was the perfect size for my 1/2" tubing application.

Worked great on a car jack

Great for using on my boats adjustable canvas rail system. Perfect size. I tried to purchase this item from boat dealers with no luck.

Stainless steel spring-loaded buttons for tent poles, etc. I used them on our deck canopy cover. Worked like a charm!

Used in gazebo tube connection restore. 6mm in my case. 10x better than the stamped years old clips supplied with the gazebo kit that eventually rounded off. Snappy! Highly recommend.
