Great gift for the bride or a good cook.
I have wanted a three quart size with pour lip for decades. I couldn't wait to use this saucepan. It did not disappoint. It cooks evenly on a glass top stove and is a breeze to clean. Lid fits to perfection which is important. Looks beautiful and is every thing you will want in a saucepan you will use every day. Don't waste your money on something cheaper...it will not last. This is a great wedding gift because it will be used all the time and even if they have another saucepan they will always grab this one first.

Not so stainless steel
This pan was weird from the beginning, but after less than 3 weeks I am returning it. I don't understand why, but this pot doesn't seem to boil as well as my other pots. Like I wait for the water to come to a boil then add some pasta, and even on high, minutes later, there are only a few gentle bubbles coming up. This isn't why I'm returning it, just an odd observation that seems to be unique to this pot. I am returning this pot because after less than 3 weeks and about 10 uses, this "stainless steel" is beginning to rust. At first I assumed it was from a metal utensil, but even after minutes of scrubbing, the rust spots remain, so I have to assume it's from the pot itself. I know a few rust spots aren't a big danger, but if it's already rusting after a few weeks, I can't imagine it will hold up well for the years of use I expect from a name brand product like this. If this were a $10 pot, maybe I'd live with it, but for $65 I expect high quality materials that can last 10+ years like most of my other pots and pans. One final, tiny complaint, the pour spout is only on one side, and being left handed, it is useless to me, just put one on both sides.

Good pan - love the pour lid
Love the cook and pour feature - no need for an additional device to poor off the water. It's so handy to just use the lid. The pan is solid, heats nicely, and cleans up easily - a little Barkeeper's Friend takes off any stains if those occur, but with careful use they don't. Handle stays cool. All in all, a good product, especially for the price point. This is my second one (I have the two quart also). I wish they made a 1 or 1.5 qt version with the pour lid, but I've yet to find one.

Does not work on induction cook tops...
We bought this pot after we started remodeling our kitchen to use in our basement kitchenette with a plug in countertop induction cook top and after testing it, it doesn't work. I saw a question asked about induction down in the comments section and figured they would probably be right saying it worked on induction.... Learned my lesson there. The pot itself is a great in between size, more than the typical 2qt, less than the bigger pots we boil pasta and sauce in. We're still happy we bought it because we'll have a high power blue Star range to use it on once we finish our kitchen. Construction seems to be good. Like the optional draining lid, seems to be good for draining veggies. This pot is a good option once you go to the big retailers and realize they will only sell stuff in overpriced sets...

A Very Handy Pot
This is a great pot for a very specific set of needs. I was looking for a pot to function as a small version of a stock pot..to contain mostly liquid for soups, to boil pasta and blanch vegetables in, and to precook beans, without having to use my huge stock pot. It serves this function perfectly. Liquids heat quickly, pour easily (as you can see it has a spout) and simmer to boil with no problem. It has good balance so lifting it to drain is no problem, and a pour area on the cover that serves the function of a built in colander to assist in draining. It is not for long cooking of thicker foods, as it is a thin pot designed for liquids, but for what it was designed for, is one of the best pots I've used...perfect size (I have the 3 quart), great heating and emptying properties.

Arrived 90 mins before Amazon's stated delivery time. Phenominal piece of cooking equipment. The sides are higher so cooking things like 'candy', which require reaching a boil stage are much easier to do. A pot holder is required for handling the glass lid handle. I wish it was a 5 qt size but this far exceeded my wishes. This is a pot you will hand down for generations! Thx you Amazon for the great price and delivery. - Greg
