2001 Club Car DS Gas voltage regulator replaced.
2001 club car DS gas. Starter/generator kept frying batteries, replaced the voltage regulator and solved the problem. Getting a consistent 14.5v charge now

failed second start
just got cart this year, lasted a month and cart guy told me battery was dead,, so we bought a new one, 200 bucks,, then bought a meter,, said 18 volts at battery,,, so I bought this regulator,, fired it up, 14 volts at battery,, yea i was happy,, second time turned on ( also put a meter in dash, ) said 18 volts,, regulator died,, made in china so I dont think they are robust,, will take it into work and have the goop removed and see what failed,, not worth my time for 15 bucks,, but, I bought an actual OeM now from thebay, for double the price,,,8 starts no failure... so dont waste your time.
