Great to make an empty bottle of alcohol into a lamp
My picture shows a bottle of Irish whiskey and my own lamp shade. I bought this to make an empty bottle into a lamp for my Mother. This was perfect. It’s simple with 2 sized corks holding the lighting apparatus. I love it, but most importantly, my Mother loves it!

Pre-wired AND fits into a variety of openings
I struggled trying to wire my clarinet making it into a lamp for a year. Bought different kits to no avail. Received this kit and was done within 5 minutes! The wire coming off the socket is barely noticeable. See 2nd pic. Sooo happy!

Great repair item for a hand blown lamp from Simon pearce
My lamp base was blown in such a way that the bold was floating around inside of the glass body the only hole was at the top end. Lucking the machined tube cork and socket fit perfectly restoring the lamp back to full use ($600) replacement from SP.Great idea for wine and champagne bottle conversions to lamps.

No instructions included
No instructions included. I put the cork in to see which fit and pieces broke off when I tried to remove it. Might still work if I can cut it so it’s flat.
