Rustic Blend Wet Cat Food, Herring & Mackerel, 5.5oz (12 Pack)

Open Farm products are amazing! My cat was throwing up multiple times daily, so we went to the vet and had lots of tests done. He was diagnosed with IBD, so I looked everywhere for clean foods that did not contain chicken, grain, soy, additives, preservatives, by-products, etc. After a long process of trying lots of foods (perscription and others) over a year, we found them! Both of my picky cats now eat Open Farm dry and wet foods, love them and my big guy hasn't thrown up in months! We are so happy!!!

This is excellent quality food, but my cats did not like the Herring & Mackeral Rustic Blend flavor, so we will try a different flavor next month. The packaging is a pain in the rear. The little boxes are easy enough to open. However, because a box lasts me two days for two cats (they don’t like to eat a lot of wet food), it must be closed up and put in the fridge. In doing so, little bits of food get all around the opening and then have to be wiped off or else the whole fridge smells like cat food. The packaging needs some re-engineering.

I wasn’t sure if this was just a waste of money at first. It took a bit for my cats to act like they like it. However, now they eat every bit of it. I can use it for two feedings so it last longer than the small cans of food and I like the ingredients. It also has more moisture than most canned food.

I have 3 cats and none would even taste this food. I have asked for a refund and I hope that their customer service is as good as they advertise. My vet recommended this and the dry food is accepted by the cats, but not so with the moist. I feel that the quality has been compromised in some way, as cats are pretty picky when they try a new food, but by the third package, I knew that they would never eat it.

Very good, very expensive

My cats loved it!!

This food, purchased for the first time, was well received by its sole diner. Take note that individual serving package is not resealable. If not intending to use the entire contents for one serving, then prepare to seal the package in an air tight container or bag. Leaving the package of seafood open in a refrigerator might well produce undesirable odor.

Cats enjoy, good ingredients and nice portions
