Good Lights, Even Better Customer Support
I was using these while building a display cabinet and during testing the red channel stopped working on one of the strips. Not exactly what you want to see mid-project. I contacted support and, honestly, expected the usual back-and-forth. Instead, within three days I had a replacement in hand. That’s the kind of customer support that actually deserves to be called customer support. The strips themselves work well and can be cut at the designated spots. One small tip: if you need to solder to the pads, getting the plastic lens coating off can be a little tricky. I had the best luck cutting close to the pad and then gently melting the remaining material away with a soldering iron. Overall I’m very pleased with both the product and the support. The lights look great in the cabinet, and it’s nice knowing the company stands behind what they sell.

The best led party lights.
My sister had these lights and when I saw them I just had to.have some. I just can't wait to get more. These lights are awesome. The only downside is that the self adhesive does not work. No worries though I used.my staple gun. It has places that allow the strip to be cut so that's where I stapled. I'm heading to my review just to let you know these lights are wonderful there's so much fun with parties I have. I've also found myself using them on the white setting instead of using my ceiling light it's much more comfortable and not harsh like some lights can be. I also love that you can brighten and dim the lights and the fade, flash ability just makes him all the better. Will definitely be getting more. Update... my husband received a TV at the Christmas party last night. A Toshiba 55 inch and while setting up said TV we noticed that the remote control is controlling the lights. All the buttons on the remote do something different with the lights whether it be changing colors one to another making them Flash or fade and even controls the speed in which they fade or Flash. As of right now it's funny but I'm not sure how fun it's going to be down the road. They're still great lights though.

Great value! Easy setup
I was looking for a permanent solution to Christmas lights, and I think I found it. These lights are water resistant. Even though I am in Arizona, we see little rain, these should hold up well. The 3m sticky back is great for holding the lights in place, but I would recommend a coax staple of some type to reinforce them. Again living in Arizona, I can see this adhesive wearing out and getting soft in the summer. I mounted to strip to see how I wanted them for Christmas lights, one strip behind the facia board and one in front. I will be mounting them in front under the lip of the roof. I would like to add more behind the facia board though because they allow for a more subtle illumination that would be great for other times of the year. I left these on for quite a while and the temp of the power supply was warm, so I would consider putting a timer switch if some type, or remember to unplug or turn off during the day. I wouldn’t leave them on constantly unless I had a better power supply. I would say the one downside would be the power supply, because of this you can only have 2-16ft strands running off of one power supply. I would not try to connect more than the two strips to one PS. If you are using these for Christmas or other, where you will be using lots of strands, you may have to run extension cords and such to make it to all power supples. Their is a picture on here already of the type of staple you can use to secure the light strips and power cords to the back of the facia. All in all I am pretty satisfied with this product and will be buying more in the future to spruce up my backyard lighting, and add some other lighting effects around the house. :::UPDATE: The lights are looking great, and the temperature of the power supply is not an issue. If I am going to leave them on extended periods of time I just turn the brightness down. Checked on my power supplies and they were cool to the touch. I would also say, lay out and plan ahead on where you need to hook up power and how the corner bends will work, to make sure the polarity lines up if you are using L connectors. I have probably a 6-8ft strip that I had to cut off and take down and redo. The good news is though, I can always use the extra strip somewhere less as long as I have a solderless connector. So really there is minimal wasted product. I just have a lot leftover, but I will use it up

Fun lights
These are great lights and I love the different color choices. Except the white, which is really blue. Hence the four stars. I needed to use the white option and it is so cold and blue that I had to replace the lights. But most people will probably want these for the other colors so they work well for that. The remote is okay, but it's pretty cheap and it's kind of hard to figure out where to aim it to get it to work right. Also, the adhesive isn't very strong so if you need these to really stay stuck, you'll want to use something else to hold them down. But they're still cool looking and put out a nice amount of light. Overall, they are really fun lights and I love LED strips. These are the waterproof ones so they are thicker and not as easy to bend sideways, so be aware of that. If you only need them for inside, get the non-waterproof ones that are thinner.

Works great even on flat ceilings!
I put these light strips in our basement storage room. I wanted to make a fun place for the kids, so I installed an outlet with switch and put the lights on the ceiling for them to play with. I wanted to get a remote that wasn't frequency based, since I already had another led strip like that and didn't want it to Hijack control of. The kids love the room we put together for them, because of the fun lights and clouds. Note: The sticky back will pull off a layer of drywall or paint when removed. When I had to remove and adjust, I definitely saw the chunks it was pulling off. All that being said weven had them up for over a month and there have been no pieces that have come down. I also just used the sticky back no other fasteners to keep these on.

UPDATED - Less than 24 hours and not working correctly
Bought for my daughter's room. So they have been up less than 24 hours. Last night for the couple hours she was awake, they looked and worked fine. Adhesive so far is still working fine. These kits come with 2 strips and are intended to run 16' each direction from the white control box each from a separate lead. We needed more to make it around her room. So we bought a 2nd set and connected a 2nd strip at each end with rgb connectors. (16'x2 in each direction from the white control box) The further you get from the controller, the lights fade and very slightly change color (dim). The power pack or controller cant handle the draw of more than 1 strip from the controller withouth fading. This morning she woke up and turned them on to find that each strip has major fade and actual color change through the strip. Mostly the white and red tones. Blue and green still look constant throughout. I played with the cheap remote and checked all the connections. It's not a bad connection as the actual color diodes for each (rgb) are working, but they change throughtout a strip. They dont change at a connection point. So I know my connections are good. They also to be getting different signals from each of the 2 wires coming out of the white controller, because each strip is slightly different in the problems we are getting. I looked up what these strips are capable of with better controllers. They can spin rainbows and colorfade, etc. This remote is not made for that, so I think the white controller box went bad and is sending a crap signal. UPDATE I did a LOT more research. Low voltage LED controllers, which the majority of these lights on Amazon are, are only capable of correctly powering up to 32' total. Not per connection from the white box. If you attach two 16' sections to one of the connectors, or more than 32' to a single connector, you will have problems. (Colors will fade, go out part way or not be the same on the strand. In order for these to work properly, you need to connect one 16' section to each of the 2 provided connections from the controller. If you need more than 32', like we did, you must use a different set of power pack and controllers for each 32' or run a powered LED booster every 32'. (Available by searching on Amazon) The sellers of the LED systems here on Amazon would do good to put more information on their listings. Not everyone buying these for their kids bedrooms are LED technicians that have the knowledge necessary to have these work properly or right a negative review, because they dont know what the product is physically capable.

Don’t last too long
Love the way they look but after a few months, some of the lights won’t turn the correct colors. One strip stopped working completely.
