So Easy To Fly!
This helicopter drone was my first attempt at buying and flying one! Guess what? It was EASY! This is so fun, cute, fast, and easy to fly. I could even do cool tricks. I did crash it into some trees and a wall while learning but the tuff and flexible plastic made it almost indestructible : ) I love the lights and all the extra parts and the second battery. It has a really long flight time on a charge and was very inexpensive. I completely recommend this for anyone (kids and adults).

Needs Better Outdoor Flight and to be Repairable.
Overall fun and easy to learn to fly. I really like the aircraft platform. A bit overpriced for what it is, but for those wishing to start, it is a nice, non-simulator way of learning the flight controls. No full acro-mode. Just altitude hold mode. It can fly outside but only in no to little wind. It does have dual rates, so use the high rate for outdoors. It has plastic gears and brushed motors. In high temperatures and long operational use the gear teeth will chip. Also, the brushed motors will fail rather quickly. Don't attempt to repair this will void the 2 year warranty. But again, this wasn't designed to be repairable. Not customizable with BetaFlight. Cannot bind a third-party radio controller. Don't waste money on the "FPV" camera. The viewing angle isn't wide enough, the camera is mounted too low, doesn't pan up enough to look ahead in forward flight, and the camera can't be rotated to level the view ( tilted to right or left ) to the aircraft. Also, only googles like the discontinued Google Daydream would make this really FPV. Can't use DJI googles nor FatShark googles. SYMA should improve on this platform to better outdoor flight and make it repairable and full acro-mode and better FPV...bigger and heavier frame...brushless motors without a gearbox...maybe three bladed blades...programmable flight controller...OpenTx compatible receiver. Consider a 4DRC 4D-V10. It is less expensive with same feature. Or the Drone Hawk aircraft series.

Great Little Drone But the Syma Fly App for Android...not so much
The $85 Syma X700W. in a flyover. 8mph winds are about the maximum breeze it can handle. At higher wind speeds above that, you're flying backward, even with full forward trim. In calm air the 700 is a great, stable flyer with excellent hover. It's a nearly indestructible quad, saddled with a crappy camera app that needs major user-friendly improvements. Hover-over labels for tagging those mysterious media function arrows would be nice, or some printed instructions about getting the Syma Fly camera app to work as advertised. Mobile phone control worked erratically But for 85 bucks this is about what we expected.

It's a good drone but..
I bought this for my teen boys. They liked it well enough. It was easy to use but watch the winds when operating outside the drone is really light in weight and can't maneuver well while wind is blowing. The only thing that is certainly disappointing is the battery and how long the charge last. 10 to 15 mins is really sad. Forget about taking turns. Yes I did read the flight time and how long the battery lasts on a charge and decided to take a chance. After a few times the kids got disheartened since charging takes a few hours. They became disinterested. I purchased this for Christmas and they still fly it just the time is very short. That said the design is different than the usual drones. But if your looking for a bit of fun for a longer time outside. Certainly look to spend more. My kids play with their stunt drones more than this. Actually the charge on the stunt drones lasts longer.

Great drone for the money!
Got this for my 6-year old grandson for Christmas - it was a total hit! He was able to learn how to fly it easily and he had hours of fun flying it! It moves nicely, he was able to manage flying it up, backwards and forwards without a bunch of crash and burns! It doesn't do the greatest in the wind but none of them really do. About 20 minutes of flying per battery - we had 2 charged each time so got about 40 minutes in before having to go in and charge. Great product!!

Great beginner drone for kids or adults
This is not my son's first drone so learning to fly was not an issue. With the two included batteries he can fly for 45 min or more depending on the type of flying he does. He said flying outside is fun but if there is any wind it's not a great experience. He much prefers flying indoors through our house or in a large room like a gym. The app was a bit of a pain to get linked and working. We ended up contacting the seller and had a wonderful experience with their customer service. 5 Stars for the customer service. After connecting with them we learned that we needed to pair the bluetooth before launching the app. It seems like it would be better to launch the app then have the app open a dialogue box to connect the bluetooth, but now that we know it is not a big deal. Overall, this is a fun little drone to play with. This is a toy and that should be kept in mind. If you are looking to actually take photos or video with this for a project you may want to think again. If you are looking for a fun toy that also has video and photos, this may meet your needs.

Stopped working in after 2 weeks
We got this as a Christmas present, and it stopped working in early January. For some reason, the top right propeller won't spin anymore. We replaced the propeller, but the issue seems to be with an internal component. This is really disappointing because it was one of the nicer gifts that we got for our kid and was a top item on their list. Poor quality, and not worth the money. Updated to add that the seller asked me to contact them for instructions on returning the item. I contacted them and did not receive any response or instructions. Poor product and poor quality service

didn't last long
Drone practically flies itself and even has the ability to change gears to make it move a bit faster but the default is more than enough. the camera and app work but it took me a bit to figure out how to get it to work. you MUST have the drone and the controller on and paired to one another, they do it automatically, and once that is done you need to connect to the wifi of the drone. mine had no password but once you connect to the wifi WITH the controller and drone on you can hit start on the app and it will show you the video from the drone. the camera is decent for what it is but don't expect super good quality though. overall happy with the drone. EDIT: the drone lasted a month and now it won't fly and just glitches out on the ground and doesn't do anything besides try and destroy itself by flopping around like a fish on dry land. we had seen early signs of it acting odd but thought it might have been us trying to fly it an odd way and the auto-correcting just over-correcting but i believe it was early signs of this drones death
