Seals those gaps like nobody's business, saving you on energy bills and the shivers in winter. Who knew some shiny tape could have a bigger financial impact than your stockbroker? The DIY MacGyver: Got a rattle in your car? Wobbly furniture? Hole in your kid's inflatable unicorn pool? Patch it with this tape. It sticks to practically anything, and its durability defies logic. Now if only it could make me handy enough to actually handle bigger home improvement projects... It's made my DIY attempts less disastrous, kept my house's temperature regulated, and might even win me brownie points with the spouse. Now, where did I put that wobbly chair...

Used this along with insulation wrap, as others did, to wrap the output hose of a portable air conditioner. Until I did this, the device was pretty much useless because the hose radiated so much heat that it negated the effect of the air conditioner. Fastened the insulation in-place with this tape. Working just great! NOW the air conditioner actually COOLS the space! I did not rate "easy to remove" because it's not intended to be removed easily. It can probably be removed fairly easily however, depending upon what you stick it to, but I didn't rate this.

The tape arrived as described with no issues I bought the tape to use to cover holes at the bottom of my HVAC unit to keep critters from getting into my crawl space and to secure ducting to vents I replaced. It has worked great, and held up, wonderfully even in the rain. It is also handy for any unexpected duct repairs. The tape is a quality product made by 3M that has good thickness and adhesion. I have no complaints as it met my expectations. I would recommend this product to others.

This 3M high temperature metal tape is very good tape if you want to get the job done right. Great for window air conditioning or for duck work central air conditioning/ heat

3M makes good stuff. I used this tape to seal edges on some foam heat shied in the engine compartment of my van. Foil is quite thin but strong and trimmed out the heat shield nicely. The adhesive is strong also so you must be careful once you remove the paper backing so the tape does not stick to itself. After a bit of trial and error I peeled a small portion of paper, placed that portion and gradually pulled the paper off with one hand while placing the tape with the other. One more thing: the paper is difficult to separate from the tape so I used a couple pieces of masking tape placing one on the corner of the paper and the other on the foil- works great. Recommended

Used this stuff to seal up some air leaks around the house HVAC system. Since I had so much left over I also used it to partially seal up some of the radiator opening on my car to get a little better aerodynamics and then also seal up the area around the radiator so anything that goes through the front grill has to go to the radiator and not bypass it. Multiple 80-100mph 4 hour road trips and this stuff is still hanging on just fine. whatever kind of stick goop they put in on this tape is going to take an act of god to get it off my car if that time ever comes, but till then this stuff is doing exactly what it's supposed to.

I found so many gaps in my venting that needed taping and with this I was not only able to seal those gaps but also improve the heat distribution too.
