Minoura Accessory Holder with Angle Adjustable LW-Clamp for Up 2 Devices, Black

My Rans V-Rex recumbent bicycle has "hamster" bars. The bars work really well but don't have a lot of space for installing accessories. I used this nice accessory mount to give me the extra room needed for a cyclometer and a headlight. I included a picture of my bike, you can easily see the headlight well above the handlebars and it's being held in place by this Minoura accessory holder. Harder to see is the cyclometer but it's there, too.I was concerned that the clamp wouldn't hold on tight but with a little rubber shim that I made by cutting up a tube the adjustability of the clamp was sufficient to hold it rock-solid. It's usually a good idea to shim anything you mount to your bike as that will protect the finish of your bike's surface and give your clamps something to bite into which will keep them in place more securely.The cylinder onto which accessories are mounted can be rotated so that the mount can be used on vertical or horizontal bars. Or even bars which are at an angle thanks to the rotation possible on one of the joints. The mounting cylinder can be slid back and forth a bit so that you can create two equal-sized mounting surfaces or one very large surface and another much smaller if that's useful for the accessories you wish to use.

Had installed a Bafang M625 and that left an area to the left side for headlamp that can be used for daylight running. Yet I was trying to find some way of adding a mounting bar in that compact area.Saw another trusted Minoura product. Ordered this for a specific task. Wanted to mount to a Rover Post down low, under and behind a Bafang headlamp (only comes on at dusk/night). Wanted to add another headlamp to run a day-time running strobe for getting the attention of traffic.While the initial installation location would have required a shorter arm, had raised the arm up over the Bafang headlamp. This gave me ample room to mount a headlamp over the electrical motor.Minoura's mounting bar slides back and forth rather easily, and I was able to fine tune its placement so as the left crank arm and my shoe would not interfere with the location of the headlamp.Success! Ample room from the shoe and cranks, while still allowing the ability to mount a headlamp. Well worth the price of this Minoura mount to fit in a compact and cramped area without affecting other devices being utilized there.Have Minoura camera mounts on both of the Versa Bars on my recumbent trike. Use a GoPro camera on the left, and use 360° cameras on the right.Have always trusted Minoura. Recommended.

It does what it supposed to do - attach to the stem or handlebar and add some real estate to the handlebar. Annoyance is that, the clamp is pulled by a m5 screw and barrel to tighten, and the threading the screw to barrel can be quite frustrating as there is no guide to catch the barrel with the screw. Also, the clamp's half is rather thin and doesn't hold quite tight. Once you are done with clamping up, however, the rest works quite well.

I am very happy with this accessory holder. Albeit it has no ability to turn the 'clamp' at the bottom so that you can mount it on your handlebars, and is intended for mounting to your 'neck' (for want of a better word) that holds your handlebars, I used it for mounting 2 "Niterider Lumina 500" lights, and it holds them very tightly! I have been on dirt roads, (with plenty of bumps and rocks) to asphalt roads (not well taken care of) with many sticks, gravel, potholes, poor (attempts at) patch jobs, etc., and this mount has held the lights in place when I had trouble staying in place! This mount deserves the 5 stars I've given it, just for it's sturdiness! Once you get the mount where you want it, it's a simple process to adjust the angle, (you'll need 'Allen Keys' for both) and you're set! Unlike the "Topeak" model, this is all metal, minus the plastic cap inserts on either end of the bar. If I ever have need of another one, I'll go with this one without a second thought! Also, I would have no reserves in recommending this to others who need one!

If you own a tadpole style recumbent trike you have challenges finding places to mount your accessories. The lack of a conventional handlebar to hold things like bicycle lights, computers/cell phones, etc. can be frustrating on a trike.While the manufacturer of the recumbent trike I have does offer an accessory to add a mount point to the front of the trike, it's expensive and lacks a great deal of flexibility.When looking for something that can provide a mount point on the front, and also has flexibility for positioning, I looked into a few alternative products. The Minoura product meets the requirements I had. It has flexibility on the diameter of the point that mounts to the bicycle/trike. It offers flexibility on angular adjustments. Lastly, the actual accessory mounting bar is wide enough to accommodate two bike lights if needed. I only needed a place to mount a cell phone holder securely.This product is exceptionally stable once installed, which I was skeptical about. I have one installed on my trike and my wife's trike and recommend this to anyone looking to add more mounting points to their bicycle or recumbent trike.

I ride a recumbent bike with under-seat steering and want a way to mount a front light. The Minoura Accessory Holder works perfect. It attaches to the front derailleur stock and can hold up to 3 accessories. I recently attached two different lights to make comparisons. Or, one could attach a light and a bike computer for example. The accessory should attach to the stem of most upright bikes as well if you need the space for accessories.

Well; lets put it this way, just a little 1% effort in engineering would fix it. The hook up, stud, cam where the screw goes in, that wraps around the frame or goose neck of bike, the cam should be a little longer or the clamp rings detach or pop off the cam. So What I did to correct it, I took my metal hacksaw and grooved the cam so the retainer / on cam would set in the groove. Just slightly, like two or 3 blade passes just below each end of cam on either side for the cam retainer arms that straps around, then it will stay in place. Unless you put a longer cam so the retainer arms won't slip off, the issue will continue. It work out great for my purpose, off set center where my brake, shifter cables are in the front..Its all metal construction, not bad, just needed tweaking. Cam is removed while wrapping around frame or gooses neck of bike then its reinstalled, but that is the issue. I hope you can understand this, thank you.

I bought this as a replacement for the headlight holder that came with my recumbent trike, that broke soon after I purchased the trike. This one was made of higher quality materials.

En la foto se ve que la abrazadera ajusta bien a una potencia que tiene de ejemplo de uso pero lo máximo que abre son 35mm, normalmente las potencias son mas gruesas, en mi caso es de 36 y ya no cierra, pero eso no lo dice en la descripción del producto, me fui con la idea que si en la foto se ve que ajusta bien le podria quedar a casi cualquier potencia, este artículo esta bien para el poste del asiento pero no para potencias.

This is a well engineered piece of kit and solves the problem of ultra endurance cycling with aerobars and a front bag and where do you put your front lights if you have carbon disc forks and no crown mount. This had puzzled me for ages and finding this solution was brilliant. Yes - if you have heavy lights mounted on this then for security it is worth putting a zip tie from the aerobar onto the horizontal mounting bar - job done
