I had another brand for years but when it finally broke (because I dropped it too many times), I needed a new one. The LIANGSTAR cooling pad is excellent. It keeps my laptop noticeably cooler. Would buy again !

Laptop fan was going out and making a lot of noise so my laptop was overheating. Got this andno longer having this problem. It's quiet and I like that it fits nicely in my backpack without taking up too much additional room. It's light weight but feels sturdy. No complaints after nearly 1 month of daily use. (10/2/25). I will update if anything changes.

Worked like a charm. Quiet, cool fans , the only problem is overtime some of the fan connections seem to come loose which can cause you to lose a fan/‘s which can affect the performance of the pad, even with my pad losing one fan it still cools my MacBook Air 2017 while running windows which is known to run very hot. Give it a shot it’s cheap enough to where if it’s not for you there is something around your home/office that can benefit from the cooling pad.

Works like it should. Especially like the dual manual speed control. The fans are placed so that they should work on about any laptop whether the intakes are in the front or rear.

Nice fan. Cools well especially noticeable during heavy video processing. Internal laptop fan barely kicks in. Like others have said the power switch/dial should be on the side vs the back. Its hard to get to. Also the cellphone stand..well it's useless for me especially if you have a case on your phone. Good news, it's actually pretty quiet even when all 6 fans are at full speed. Softer than the laptop fan for sure.

First off, I never expected this device to be "silent" considering there are moving fans. The product box itself says "silent". That could be misleading to consumers who are too hopeful; the only time the device is silent is when it is off. When I connected the USB cable and turned on this device, I expected little noise. However, what I heard I consider pretty loud. I went back and read other customer reviews about quietness. Basically, if you're used to hearing fans from a desktop computer or laptop, listening to music, gaming with sound, watching movies, etc., then the noise from the fans gets drowned out. However, my laptop is newer (just released 3-4 months ago) and thinner, so it doesn't have noisy internal fans. Only way I would not notice the fan noise is for me to be distracted by some other background noise (like eating a bag of chips) while setting the fans to the lowest speed. The design of where the ports and fan on/off dial switches is a bit odd. I understand that they were placed in the back so they wouldn't get in the way, but at the same time it is annoying to have to reach all the way to the back to turn on, turn off, or adjust fan speed. I reversed orientation so that all that is in the front where I can access easily. As for how well the device does in cooling my laptop, from the lowest through the highest speed if I just leave my laptop on without using it then there is barely any noticeable heat. However, once I use my laptop for typical tasks, it does warm up noticeably after a few hours, but still not as hot as without any cooling fans. I plan to test out another device with a bigger fan which I've read tend to be quieter but possibly sacrificing speed of airflow. I'm sure there are probably more pricey & higher end cooling pads, but I don't want to spend too much out of this price range for a maintenance accessory.

Works great keeps my laptop very cool for gaming and the added usb ports are great

This is fantastic, with the options to have the laptop up to any angle or just on its own flat the USB cord fits perfect and great length too. Very satisfied with this product

Bought for my new laptop with a 17-inch screen, fits perfect. Makes a bit of noise even on lowest once in awhile but only use computer for personal use - no big deal. Highly recommend to keep your laptop cooled. Had an a different one on my old laptop but died, need to keep it from overheating.
