Russian Soviet Army Air Force Fur Military Winter Ushanka Hat GR Size XL

Looks very sharp and fits well, and its well made to boot. I have a black one of these and wanted a gray one to match my gray wool jacket and coat. This fits the bill. From experience, I know these genuine Russian Ushankas keep your head warm and look very sharp. I get compliments all the time and asked where I got it from,,,,and now I have a gray one. Received my ushanka in the mail today and am thrilled to wear it out in the winter this year! As advised by other reviewers, it's recommended to order a size up if you have thick voluminous hair so your head can breathe ~ I expect it'll keep your head and ear(flaps)s really warm, which is perfect for being out in colder weather. The dark gray looks really nice against my black hair and tan skin without making me look too washed out, overall I'm in love and can NOT wait to try it out. I bought this hat and I Iove it. It is the best hat I have ever owned. It is very comfortable and durable, well worth my money. I recommend anyone looking for a good ushanka get one of these. I love how it comes with instructions on how to replace or add an emblem, in case you like the hat but don't want the Soviet symbol or just want to put your own symbol on it.

I expected this hat to take awhile since it ships from Russia and other reviews said as much. Evidently some Russian fella must of been standing next to the UPS truck throwing these hats in like fastballs. Mine came in less than five days. It fits well, evidently Russians have big heads because I usually have problems getting hats big enough. XXl fit perfectly. It's not to be taken lightly, this is one very WARM hat. It is quite a bit lighter colored than the picture shows it. Thats my only complaint though, it's sort of a light blue grey.

since this is being shipped from Russia, I don't really mind the wait time, actually it was delivered one day before the estimated delivery date and I'm really happy about it =) it has some flaws though, in the top part, you can see the seams very clearly; I don't really mind about this, because I can fix it myself, besides, i don't want to have to return the Ushanka back to Russia and have to wait to a replacement, it's just a seam, you know, I don't really mind. And actually, it's a little bit lighter than I expected, but that's probably my computer's fault xD besides that, everything is awesome!! it's really warm, and I love the Eagle (I had to put it myself, though, and it was a bit difficult) and the Russian coin!! I have to say that it feels softer than the black one I already have. Also, I first purchased the black one XL and it fitted perfectly to my head (I have a huge head ._. , so I ordered this XL too, but it's a little bit bigger.. I'm not complaining though, just saying =) and a valuable advice: no matter how cold it is, take your Ushanka off when you walk into any business, and make sure the owner/employees are not Romanian, or you could have a really bad time ._. (already happened to me with the black Ushanka)

The hat is very warm. I do think it is misleading to state that it is fur because it is not fur. It is a material similar to fur. The ornament was very difficult to put onto the hat and I decided after a long time of trying and fearing that the pins on each side would break off to not put it on the hat at all. It is a good hat for use when snow is falling or for casual cold days and it would simply be worn for warmth. It is not a hat that I will wear for dress occasions. The actual fox fur would be appropriate for that. It is a good hat for the price.

Got this as a Christmas gift for my brother (he was born in Russia) he loved it, cold winters where he lives now. I put the emblem on before wrapping it, ended up using a knife... I initially tried using a pushpin but you need a bigger hole for the things on the back. Basically two strips of bailing wire need to poke through one layer of the hat (centered) and bent outwards, without braking the wire. You basically have to use a knife... should be fine as long as it’s not mashing washed (I doubt he would with this anyways) He really liked it though :) This size is huge, was a perfect fit for him, them Russians have big heads lol

Excellent quality. Perfect fit. Very attractive and stylish, (and WARM)! I have received multiple compliments on this item. Two metal Soviet badges are included, (unattached), for those who might wish to wear them on the hat. I do not, given the bloody atrocities perpetrated by the U.S.S.R. throughout the Twentieth Century, and the fact that I was a member of the Berlin Brigade during the Cold War, but others might certainly legitimately choose to wear these accessories. I highly recommend this item!!

My son wanted this for Christmas as he loves learning about the history of Russia. He absolutely loves it.

The product is very good , the only problem is that the strings which hang on the side flaps are not stiched properly .

I ordered this Ushanka on October 1st and received it on October 24th, before the estimated arrival date. It's quite warm and fashionable. I love the USSR crest symbol but I must say it was difficult to install as it flimsy and the pins bend easily. I managed so I'm happy. Overall the hat is great and matches my bomber jacket.

The hat is exactly what I expected. Looks authentic and size 62 fits perfectly, as we have taken my mead measurement prior to ordering. I hope it will be warm enough for Canadian winter, will edit the review when time comes. Thank you.
