me myself and i enjoyed the cards, tons of legendaries and the pikachu figure was cool

First things first, I've been collecting Pokémon cards since I was a girl so I wanted to start again with this set. I love the cards I got. Gave me nostalgia of when I use to buy them and the excitement of what I will get. My only issue is the Pikachu came with the tail snapped off. Nothing glue can't fix but for the price, maybe have better bubble wrap either way I'm happy with the purchase none the less :)

Luckily my Pikachu statue didn't come in broken like most people did

I bought this before Thanksgiving as an Amazon warehouse deal. It was slightly discounted since it had “cosmetically damaged packaging”. I bought it knowing the box wouldn’t be perfect because Pokémon has been difficult and at times, impossible to find and there aren’t many stores that carry the physical merchandise. It arrived on time but I didn’t open it. It was a Christmas gift for my son, so hid it in the attic until Christmas. Plus I’ve never had a bad experience purchasing something from Amazon warehouse. When I opened the box to wrap it, I could see that the Celebrations box was a lot more than “cosmetically damaged”. The side of the box was completely ripped and it flapped open when I took it out of the Amazon box.It was as if someone opened it from the right side of the box to slide out the inside plastic packaging, remove contents and then easily slide it back in to the box. When I looked at its contents, it seemed like booster packs were either missing or displaced because they weren’t filling up the molded plastic packaging slots (I’ve bought plenty of Pokémon boxes that had displaced booster packs and I hesitated to buy it fearing the packs were missing and they ended up having the best pulls). So I had to wrap it up for my son anyways because it was Christmas Eve and the 30 day return timeframe expired, so I couldn’t get a refund or replacement (apparently I bought this prior to the extended return period or it wasn’t included because it was a Warehouse deal?). When my son opened the package on Christmas morning and he was upset because 3 Celebrations booster packs were missing. On top of that, he didn’t get a single good pull out of the box…. So that makes me wonder, did someone open it, weigh and take the heavy booster packs and then send it back as if it was still complete? There’s a huge difference between cosmetic damage and missing contents! I wouldn’t have purchased it if I had known there would be missing booster packs. Worst $55 I’ve spent on Amazon.

Everything was great, but the entire tail piece is broken off the body. I saw others have the same issue. Nothing glue can’t fix, but still disappointed about it being broken.

First I want to say this collection is set at msrp for $49.99. So if you are buying this for any higher, don't. The pokemon company is going to be printing this celebration set like crazy. Be patience and wait to buy it at msrp. I love this figure collection. The gigantamax pikechu itself looks and feel like it is worth $50. The amount of packs you get on top of it all. oof, what a bargain. If you are a casual collector or just am in love with the figure that comes in this set. Do youself a favor. Get it. Definitely worth the money.

Missed out on this when it first came out. Happy with it. Box was a bit dented and the cards do bow out a bit, but it's not enough of an issue to lose a star for me. Got all Pikachu full arts in the Celebrations packs. Not sure if that's normal or not, but since Pikachu is my favourite, I'm more than happy to have them! And the figure is well made too. Was worth getting.

I buy thought that this pikachu was wearing a hairband. Kan cute. Come liao, degen le then realised wah lau all the promos sibei OC. Off center! Cb lah I angry, then kick the buibui chu away, then the hair band broke. I hate pikachu lah, dont buy this, buy the stupid looking simi UPC better la.. Now $450+ aiya dun buy lah keep your money Kthxbye!

From my purchase, you got your promo cards and pikachu toy. However all packs are resealed. All good cards taken. Box also not in good shape, with dents and creases.

High demand for this toy this year so was hard to find.Due to that the price was highly inflated ! Its a gift for a grandson so bought it anyway.Sure hope he likes it.
