I bought this set for my kitchen and have been really happy with them. The cushioning makes a noticeable difference when standing for longer periods while cooking or doing dishes. I use the shorter mat in front of the sink and actually placed the longer one in my laundry room to tie everything together — it works perfectly in both spaces. We didn't know if we'd like using these kinds of mats, or what would separate decent ones from great ones. These are decent ones, and it made sense to take the plunge and buy at this price while figuring out what we'd like longer term. These are stiff and not all that cushion-y under foot, but they are easier on the back than bare floor or a carpet runner. They don't slip around much which is vital, but at the same time, it's no trouble to lift them up to clean underneath. Even though the plastic-y feel SEEMS like they might split along the sides, after plenty of use, they haven't done that at all. I also like that they don't look industrial, even if I'm not wild about the bi-color pattern The things I'd look for when deciding on an upgrade from here would be: - Depth: (meaning, the measurement from the counter out in the room)these feel about 3-4 inches too skinny, and I have small feet - Weight: I think the weight could be a good proxy for the quality and cushy feel. I'd think an upgrade would be 1-2 pounds heavier so you'd have more thickness and stability, without getting something you'd have to practically peel off the floor or hire a crew to move when you want to clean underneath - Durability: I'd want to see reviews of a year or more of durability without showing wear before I'd pay more to replace these

I use these mats by the sink and stove, and they make a big difference when standing for long periods. The cushioning is comfortable, they stay in place, and they’re easy to clean. The black and gray colors look nice in the kitchen too. Great value and very practical!

Perfect fit for what I needed. Also very comfortable on my feet while cooking/cleaning etc and I bought the less padded version. Non slip, water absorbing, very good material.

These are a very good quality, cushioning set of mats. The grey and with black trim goes perfect with our white cupboards and black handles. They are very complimentary with our kitchen decor. The mats stay in place and absorb my weight very well. I use the mats in a single line and they fit perfectly in the work area. The edges stay down so no tripping hazard. If you order these mats I'm sure you will be pleased as much as I am.

Really like these mats. Since I hate hardwood these mats are good for helping to cover up the hardwood. Lightweight and easy to clean. Make my apartment more cozy, especially during the colder months.

Affordable. Definitely helps. Not heavy duty, but you can’t expect it to be for that price. I’m 135 lbs and I can still feel the floor, but it does help.
