Not sure why people are taking off stars aside from user error from not knowing how to take the case on and off. Delivery was super fast. The case is a well designed protective hard shell. It was easy to put on and fits like a glove once on. Pricing was reasonable for the quality of the product; you can’t find anything remotely similar anywhere on amazon. It was exactly what I was looking for overall. If you bought a gen 6 2021 thinkpad and need a durable, good quality case, look no further, you’ve found it.

Update- I tripped on my charging cable and the computer tumbled to the floor. This case did NOT offer any sort of protection. Maybe it only protects when the computer is closed(?) Now I have to buy a new computer. I was never impressed with this case but now I'm downright angry at it. I do NOT recommend this. Cons: 1-No instructions for installation. 2-Tough fit as it sort of folds in on itself some around the edges. 3-Trying to take it off is a nightmare and it will pull your monitor apart. 4-It looks like I'm stuck with this for the life of my BRAND NEW computer since it is now holding my monitor together. 5-Already scratched from simply carrying in a work bag for half of a work day. Pros 1-Seems to provide protection. I cannot not recommend this enough. If you love your computer, you won't torture it with this device. Get a simple computer bag. Trust me.

this item arrived dirty it had smudges and a hair on it I unfortunately didn't take pictures before I cleaned it off and put it on my laptop. It fits perfectly with no other issues. the laptop is passively cooled (no fans just vents) so I was a little concerned that would it get too hot but that hasn't happened. Some people have mentioned their laptops break when putting the case on or when dropping it the case is too ridged and causes the screen to break. I haven't experienced either of these issues but I mainly bought the case to cover it in stickers and unfortunately this is the only case like this that you can buy for this laptop

This makes my laptop feel nice and protected. It was easy to install and gives a sturdy feel to my Thinkpad. I feel Like it can be “banged” around a bit in the car with no damage. Glad I purchased it. Would definitely recommend.

Relatively easy to put on. But my daughters friend (age 13) cracked the screen attempting to get the cover off. How ironic.

The bottom half is thick and secured nicely to the laptop. The top half has nice rubber around the edges and corners, but a thin flimsy plastic section covering the top portion of the laptop, and doesn’t extend to the back edge there’s maybe 1-2 inches of laptop still exposed. A thicker type of plastic would be an upgrade, as is the case on other laptops. Need to be careful how you apply and remove the shell as you can damage your laptop if you have to force or bend to make the fit right. I find it’s over priced considering the same shell on the US Amazon site is much cheaper. But for this model laptop I could only find two companies that manufacture a hard shell. The laptop is already built to be somewhat durable but between the plastic and rubber this shell should really enhance the laptops durability. It’s worth buying to extend the life of your computer
