I made the mistake of buying plastic ones before these. I'm very satisfied with the grip, construction, etc. and am quite sure they will outlive me!

This thing, considering the price, is amazing. I got the 250lb version and I am more than satisfied. It does have minor aesthetic abnormalities, but the build quality is astonishing. Also, people may complain about the knurling (the grip pattern), but it's absolutely necessary at higher resistance and will thoughen up your hands. Product exceeds all expectations.
