Nice alternative option to real bread!
I'm grading this review based on what I expect from this type of bread - not what I expect from bread in general or other foods. For a keto, low carb, gluten free white bread, I think it's great. It is expensive, but I also expect that. It tastes like a soft saltine, which is to say - no taste - but I expected that. It falls apart at the edges when not toasted, and while not entirely expected, I'm not surprised. Overall, it does exactly what it's supposed to - pass as an alternative in the best way possible.

Taste really good
This bread is expensive $20 dollars a bag, but when you can’t eat much of anything else this bread was worthy it for me. Packaging was excellent, the bread came in perfect condition and taste great for a gluten free bread. Soft and tasteful great for toast.

Delicious! Be careful of total daily fiber
I hadn't eaten bread in years and completely underestimated how my body would react to the modified fiber in this product. The bread is fantastic, but I overdid it. Eating 2-3 pieces per meal quickly pushed me over 50+ grams of fiber a day. If you don't (or can't) drink massive amounts of water to offset it, that fiber acts like a dry sponge in your digestive tract and can cause severe GI blockages and extreme water retention. I highly recommend the bread, but please start slow and eat in strict moderation!

Better than not having any bread
This low net carb bread is great, compared to no bread at all. It’s not as good as “real” bread, but when toasted, it completes my keto breakfast. I take the time to separate the slices before freezing and place parchment paper between them. Found out the hard way it falls apart easily coming out of the freezer. The regular price of $10+ is not reasonable, so I wait for the reduced price of $3 to $6, then buy a couple of loaves and freeze.

Slightly over priced
I buy a lot of keto bread, and I would say this isn’t the best of them. It’s smaller and has a dry taste to it that lingers. I also feel it’s over priced. Great for a low carb option.

Don't order from Weis
Weis Markets delivery is awful. One delivery was cancelled for unknown reasons. Another delivery didn't get to my house despite the delivery person claiming they delivered it. They are a scam or have drivers who scam them. Amazon should terminate whatever agreement they have with Weis because Weis drivers are the very definition of unreliable.

I Can't Believe this Exists!
Several years ago I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes at age 36. I was determined to change my diet and lifestyle to avoid being put on medication to control my blood glucose. So I transitioned to eating low carb, which meant saying goodbye to potatoes, pastas, and breads. I have tried MANY low carb bread alternatives, none of which could ever compare in taste and texture to my beloved refined (yet unhealthy) sliced breads. Until I tried THIS bread! I got this to try with fairly low expectations. I had pretty much resigned to the fact that I'd never be able to eat real bread again. But when I tried this I was honestly speechless. I thought there was NO WAY this could be low carb! It tastes just like Wonder bread. I had to re-read the ingredients just to make sure I wasn't being tricked. Ordinarily I'd run a mile from anything that lists "tapioca starch" as it's definitely not a low carb ingredient. But this uses a MODIFIED tapioca starch that is extremely low carb and packed with fiber. I have not found this bread to spike my blood sugar at all, and now I'm completely obsessed with it. Truth be told, I had previously purchased and tried a bread mix package that you bake yourself and basically makes this exact type of bread. But it was actually a lot more expensive and I also had to buy yeast. This Carbonaut bread pre-made is half the cost and infinitely more convenient. Did I mention I'm obsessed?? If ordering from Whole Foods, it'll arrive frozen. You should definitely keep this bread in the freezer until you're ready to eat it. Once opened, you can refreeze the loaf. You can also keep it in the fridge where it'll stay fresh for about 2 weeks. I personally would not store this bread at room temperature for long periods for fear of spoiling it. In sum, if you do keto or eat low carb and you're missing sliced sandwich bread, this is an excellent option. But if you don't like Wonderbread type bread, you won't like this. Nothing will ever be the same as the real thing, but this comes extremely close. Honestly if someone had made me a sandwich with this bread and I didn't know it was a low carb alternative, I would never have known. It's just so similar that I still can't get over it!

Great low carb GF option!
Holds together pretty well and tastes like normal bread. For a gluten-free option I really like this. Toasting makes the bread hold together (as it does for most GF bread). Trying to do Keto while GF has been really hard but this makes it much easier.
