Is this made of MDF or real hard wood? Real hard wood good, MDF bad

It is mdf. It works for me. I have 2 2x4' ones I join together to make 4x4. Wood work table when working in the driveway. They are heavy so I keep them in the original boxes. There is the Bora box and a cardboard over box.

What is the weight capacity for a point load on the edge between pads of a ck6s centipede base? (can a person stand on the edge safely?)

I have sit on mine w/o problems i am 190 lbs weight

can this be painted with water based polyurethane to protect the surface? Thanks

I recommend shellac, it soaks into the surface protecting the MDF without building a film and blocking the dog holes. If you want to make it pretty add furniture wax. After a couple of years of abuse lightly sand it and throw on some more shellac.

Very expensive for what it actually is, it didn't even come pre-rounded. For a piece of MDF that's just drilled, it's quite expensive. I don't need to buy the next ones, I'll make them myself!
