Great game especially if you like animal crossing

We've all played Monopoly, this is even better (if you're an AC fan). Most all novelty Monopoly games are just vanilla Monopoly with a different skin. This is NOT that. This is pretty much a new game leveraging concepts from Animal Crossing. I can't imagine any AC fan being disappointed with this receiving this or playing this game.

A good purchase

Absolutely love this Animal Crossing version of Monopoly! This is NOT just a reskinned version of the regular Monopoly game, so if that's what you're looking for, you will be disappointed. Instead, you get a re-imagining of the standard game (which I personally prefer for these special editions), one that feels much more in-line with the laidback vibe of ACNH. You discover islands, rather than having to buy property spaces, and you collect resources from them, even when someone else lands on them. You then sell those resources for Bells which you can spend at Nook's Cranny (when you pass Go) for decorations like you can find in the actual ACNH game. The end goal being to earn the most Nook Miles (through your decorations and NM cards) at the end of the game in order to win. There is a slight learning curve when playing the game for the first time, but it's pretty easy to pick up overall. There ARE a lot of little pieces to punch out and separate before starting the game. We didn't bother separating everything out by space, like the Rules state, though, but simply sorted by Resource (Fruits, Fish, Fossils, etc.) and then let the Banker hand out the right color of each depending on which space a Player landed on. Saves some time on set-up. Then we put all of those various piles into individual snack-sized Ziploc bags for easy storage after the fact. That's my only complaint about this game; I wish it came with a storage box with individual sections for easy set-up, divvying out during the game, and storage of all of the little tokens. My order came completely sealed and perfectly new, no missing pieces or complaints. Overall, very pleased with this purchase, have had a lot of fun with it, and definitely recommend it to any AC fan - especially for the little player figurines! (I'm curious, too, if each game, much like starter islands in AC, has a randomized different fruit. Ours ended up being Apples, so I wonder if there are versions of the game that have Peaches, Cherries, etc. Very neat, if so!)

Bought for grandkids. Overwhelmed by so many small pieces.

This game is not like Monopoly. There are sooooo many tiny circular cardboard tokens, it will be hard to keep track of them. The game takes a very long time to set up. I do not recommend this game at all. It is a disappointment and frustration.

I bought 1 for myself and ordered one for my sister since we both like animal crossing. It's cheaply made and deff for kids. Would be better if the players for the board was animal characters from the actual game

I bought for my 10 year old to help with money. There isn’t paper money only little card board circles. It was so hard to understand how to play so we threw it in the trash!
