Great package deal.
Installed in a basher/trail build. Great value, used a program card I had lying around and it worked like a charm, was one of the cheap ones. Don't listen to the other reviews that say this ESC doesn't work, obviously someone that didn't have a clue about RC's wrote that. There are jumpers to make it go into high speed mode, or to put in crawler mode so you have a drag brake (just like the description says). Also has jumpers to choose what you want your BEC to be set at. If the motor spins the wrong way, reverse it on your transmitter... Pretty simple stuff, not a ESC problem. Don't let someone's bad review make you pass on this, I'm super happy with it. Actually bought another one of the motors for another project and that is also going strong. The ESC can run 2s or 3s, it's a rebranded surpass hobby 80a. If running a 12t motor however, the motor is only rated for 2s so just keep that in mind. Overall I would say it's very similar to a hobbywing 1060. Has great slow speed for crawling or trailing and also punch for bashing. Hope this helps! Have a good day.

Very nice and seems like it’s good quality.

Pretty decent motor for my 1/10 scale
It’s pretty fast and reliable lasting and doesn’t get super hot after running for long time

Good budget friendly system
Just broke in the motor on this setup in my Traxxas Stampede, works good. I had to switch the black and red wire for proper rotation (May very by vehicle) but I would buy it again. Ran on 2s 5000mah pack 30-45 minutes with a 19t pinion and 90t spur. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

if you’re going to just get the motor, that’s it sec is garbage
I got 2 new ones and they both don’t work anymore after a few mints they just only go one way and that’s it. I’ve had only no problems with the first two that I bought, but the first two new ones that I did buy they didn’t last at all. They only lasted like not even a few minutes more or less a few seconds after I went outside and tried to run it.

Used for ECX Boost
I couldn’t fit the cab into the Boost because it has a left on the side of the shaft. I think I could have eventually tweaked the set up to fit but I just used a different t can with a flat end instead. So I haven’t used this motor but the esc works just fine

Handles 3s nicely
Originally purchased this for a rock crawler build but ended up putting just the motor in one of my Tamiya tt02 touring cars and it handles 3s bashing very nicely. I have not used the esc as I am using the esc from the Tamiya kit I think this is a great value for the cost

Motors are junk
The first set I got had a seized motor. Ordered a replacement and it was the same story. Wouldn't turn by hand or with power from the esc.

The esc burnt out in 2 days replaced that just to find motor had eaten itself and seized would definitely not recommend
