A Total Game Changer for Beating the Winter Blues!
I recently replaced every single light bulb in my house with these GE Sun Filled LED Light Bulbs, and I couldn’t be happier! After just 24 hours, I felt an immediate difference in both my mood and energy levels. As someone who suffers from Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), winter can be a tough time for me. I didn’t want to adjust my medication, so I started looking for alternatives to boost my energy and mood during the darker months. That’s when my psychiatrist recommended these full-spectrum bulbs that mimic natural sunlight. One of the challenges I faced was finding full-spectrum bulbs that didn’t give off that cold, sterile white light that you often see in hospitals (which makes me feel anxious). I wanted something warm and inviting, and these bulbs hit the mark perfectly! Despite being 60-watt equivalents, the light output is comparable to my old 100-watt bulbs – I hardly noticed any difference in brightness, which is great because they still offer plenty of light. The real magic, though, is in how these bulbs have transformed my mood. Within a day, I felt my energy levels increase dramatically, and the creative block I’d been struggling with for weeks vanished. I’m now back to writing as if it were spring or summer. These bulbs have truly shaken me out of the sluggishness I typically feel when winter approaches. I've been telling everyone I know about these bulbs! If you’re feeling skeptical, trust me, they work. They effectively mimic the sun, helping to reduce melatonin production, which is responsible for that sleepy, depressed feeling you get when it gets dark earlier in the winter. These bulbs are worth every penny, and I’m even considering buying more lamps just so I can fill my home with even more of this amazing light. If you’re struggling with SAD or just the winter blues, give these a try. You won’t regret it!

Outside light, inside.
Really good product for indoors and outdoors to produce general lighting. I’m trying this outside in my entryway patio area. Makes a big difference. The light is really sunshine bright and illuminates well. This is my third order, placing the bulbs in stetigic areas through the house. Really like it.

Great for plants
My plants love this and the African violets bloom constantly. My succulents are very happy!

Excellent light, wish it came in more sizes.
This bulb (2700k version) makes the best quality light I've found from an LED, very nice looking and close to an incandescent. The downside is it only comes in one shape and wattage. This bulb is A21 size and won't fit in a lot of fixtures designed for the more common, smaller A19 size. It also only comes in "60W" brightness which is a bit brighter than a 60W incandescent. And it only shines on the top half of the bulb, so it distributes light differently than an incandescent. This Sunfilled produces slightly better light second-best LED I've found, which is the Philips Ultra Definition. The Philips isn't quite as good in color rendition, but it's close enough that you probably won't notice the difference unless you compare them side-by-side. The Philips comes in a variety of different sizes and wattages, responds better to dimmers, and it looks like a traditional bulb. I use this Sunfilled wherever I can fit them, and the Philips everywhere else.

Needed Sunshine Vibes.
I have this lightbulb installed in a lamp above my chair. I turn it on for 20 minutes everyday to mimic the Sunshine that we are missing in the Winter here in the Midwest. It makes me feel better and more relaxed and energized. I really think it has helped me tremendously.

Wow It's Great
Price was great. It works well and gives off plenty of the light needed to combat SAD. Here in the northwest it's a problem. This was a cost effective solution. Reccomend

Replaced a house full of Philips Hue with these much-cheaper bulbs
I replaced virtually every Philips Hue bulb in my house with these much-cheaper, non-smart bulbs. Hue are cool because they can match the color temperature to the time of day, which makes indoors sync up with light from the windows and make rooms feel like they’re changing places and purposes as the day goes on. But the color rendering on the sun-filled bulbs is so, so much better than Hue, I was willing to give up the variable temperature I loved so much. These lights are the closest thing I’ve seen the incandescent lights without spending 6x+ on electricity (more in the summer, dealing with waste heat). Reds in particular are much richer than with normal LED bulbs, and it’s easier to pick out fine details in color. I only wish they came in more form factors—I still have a few locations where these bulbs wouldn’t work well. My most common substitute is Philips Ultra Definition, which comes in a decently wide variety of form factors and has better color rendering than Hue (despite being much cheaper and made by the same company), but Sun-Filled bulbs are a clear step up from Ultra Definition.

I want them in every room of my house
These actually helped with my seasonal depression. I can’t say exactly how much, but I put them in my bedroom fall 2024, and my room became something of a safe space at night. I have light sensitivities, specifically with blue or white lights, and these were a lot better for that. Which could be part of it. But I left them at home when I moved (so my brother could have them) and I’ve been missing them a lot the last month or so. I really do think they helped with the random sadness. Need to order more! If this is something you think might help you, I definitely recommend trying them out!

Just, not worth at all the price it's at. It's not Sunny daylight, it's not overcast daylight. it doesn't look like anything like daylight in any way. waste of 40$
