I usually prefer to hold a pan in my hands in order to better judge workmanship and quality. But in this case, I just went with the Cuisinart reputation. The pan exceeded my expectations.

Good pot, but the lid handle gets hot
The pot is fine, and what I expected. It's the right size, non-stick is good, handle works well, but … the handle on the lid gets hot. If you're willing to use a pot holder religiously, go for it. Otherwise you can try what I did. My worn out old one-quart Kitchenaid saucepan (as they call it … to me it's a "pot") that this replaced had a perfectly good lid that fit the Cuisinart, and its handle does not get hot. So for me it's a new pot, old lid, no pot holders, and I'm happy. Mission accomplished.

Very, very good little pan
I needed a little saucepan like this. I did a LOT of looking and can tell you that these aren't particularly easy to find. There are lots of bigger ones, but not so many small ones. I'm pretty picky about my pots and pans in that they need to be high quality. This one rang my bell at a very good price. It's very well make and actually has some heft to it. Mine came with a glass lid. It does everything I ask it to do very well. It has a great non stick finish that looks like it's high quality, and it heats very evenly. If you're looking for a very good quality small sauce pan, this is the one.

La volveria a comprar
Muy buena. Buen antiadherente, no se pega nada. El mango no se calienta. La agarradera de la tapa se calienta un poco. Pero nada grave para mi gusto. La volvería a comprar.

Smaller than expected
Ordering and delivery was great as usual from Amazon. However pan was smaller than expected. My fault for not checking I suppose. So then bought the 2 quart size too. That is more like the average saucepan size. I suspect i could have bought the two together cheaper than buying separately
