Design Toscano Hooked on Fishing, Fisherman Black Bear Statue

It looks just like the photo. I had this on my wish list for a while. And my son bought it for me. I'm very happy he did. It is one of those items that bring a smile to your face when you look at it. Seems to be very good quality, but I keep it indoors so far. I recommend.

I had to wait some time for this item to come in and I too was sad to see that it didn't come with the pictured fish. This was ordered as a joke for my brother who's koi ponds had been plagued by raccoons. Because it was already well past his birthday I simply added a fishing bobber and lure (with point of hook clipped off). It looks fantastic and I don't miss the little fish at all. My brother loved it and it is now proudly displayed by his koi pond. It looks so much better than I expected. Very realistic. And he hasn't had a marauding raccoon since then. BONUS! I was only a little sad to see that it is now on sale for half of what I paid but am still happy with my purchase. Something to be said for making "lemonade."

It's a cute statue. I couldn't wait to add to my outdoor pond decor. I was very disappointed with fishing pole statue came with. The picture on Amazon shows a realistic fishing pole. Fishing pole it came with is slightly chipped, and doesn't look realistic at all. I also can't pose raccoon as shown on Amazon. It's adorable, but too expensive for what it is. I would pay no more than $20.00 for it. I'm disappointed, and definitely returning it.

Got it to put in my backyard. Absolutely love it. Not to heavy. But heavy enough it doesn't blow over or knock down easy.

I added him to the pond. He fit right in. It’s nicely made, sturdy.

Love my raccoon In my wet room

Probably the worst Toscano piece I have bought but luckily on sale so was worth the price I paid. The figure itself is lovely but the fishing pole was straight and when made to look like the picture it just would not sit so the fish was forwards, the string wasnt long enough to do what the picture suggested and the pole kept falling out of the figure. I altered the pole until it fit so the fish was at least a bit in front of the figure and then glued the pole in place so it didnt keep sending it backwards, also extended the fishing line so that it goes around the reel and through the pole and the fish sits just above my pond. Also amazed it made it in one piece as the fish was just being thrown around in the box. Toscano make lovely pieces usually this one just wasnt made correctly to suit the picture. I do love it but wouldnt buy it again.

Also das Tierchen auf dem Bild ist ja supersüß, aber das, was ich bekommen habe erkennt man wirklich nur an dem gestreiften Schwanz dass es ein Waschbär ist - die Figur ist so gut wie komplett dunkelgrau und extrem schlank, somit von Standfestigkeit keine Spur - der Fisch selbst wiegt ja fast genau so viel wie das ganze Ding (klitzekleine Übertreibung) - wenn der Wind kommt, sehe ich ihn schon im Teich liegen... Diesen Artikel würde ich nicht mehr kaufen, erst recht nicht zu diesem Wucher-Preis von knapp 30€, das ist er definitiv nicht wert !

This was faulty. The fishing rod was facing towards the back, and there was no way to correct it. As it was bought for a gift I had to return it.

I love it so much! Great condition, perfect size and a perfect little addition to our balcony. I'm definitely getting more.
