(7544) CR7HIX Iridium IX Spark Plug, Pack of 1

I bought this iridium-tipped spark plug for a 1995 Honda Super Cub DX. Being such a slow bike, I hoped that somehow, the superior spark system of the spark plug would ensure it fires better and the bike moves (and runs) smoother. I was wrong: the bike starts at the first attempt (as it always did), but I didn't notice any exceptional smoothness or power during its use. However, I can confirm that the spark plugs are genuine iridium-tipped and will last for several thousand miles before needing replacement (this should be the core reason for opting for them, by the way). Though I was initially disappointed that I didn't get extra 'smoothness', I'm more than happy that the spark plugs are original and will certainly last for years to come. In my world, the purchase is justified, and I got value for money. Now, with value for money, functionality, and fitness (for a 1995 Honda Super Cub), what else can I ask for?

Using this in a 49cc gas bike that I use daily. Can definitely tell the difference from the original cheap plug it came with and this. Fits great, gapsping was on point, and performs excellent. Built to last and worth the money.

I took a chance on this NGK plug. My Kymco Agility 50 is 3 years old and figured I'd replace it. I pulled the old NKG plug out and replaced it with a similar Autolite that I got at a local box store. The old plug had worked much better and put it back in. Then I saw this Iridium and bought it. Put it in my scooter this morning and immediately saw a big difference just when I pushed the starter button. Boom! The engine burst into life immediately. My quick test drive turned into a 100+ mile tour. The engine was quicker and more responsive than it had ever been before. It was as if I'd given the scooter a major tuneup. I'm not kidding when it seemed as if my little 50cc had grown bigger, that somehow the engine had increased in size to a 60cc. The extra $$$ spent on this plug is totally worth it. At least so far. I really hope that the new performance I've seen keeps on going as I putter my new scooter down the road.

I own a 150cc Chinese scoot (GY6) with only 2 miles on it. I rode it up and down my lane so far and still need to take it to DMV to get tags. Anyway, it kinda had a hesitation or like a sputter when going. Reminded me of a weedwacker when it's first started. I did enough research and went with this spark plug. Huge difference. It's starts right up and doesn't show any signs of sputtering. -side note.. The OEM plug had the name TORCH on it (if anyone wants to know) and with just 2 miles, it already showed signs like it had a few Hundred miles on it. Also, you may have looked into that orange spark plug wire that folks are buying with a spark plug. That thing is pretty much the same as the one that comes with your scoot so it is not anything that will increase performance. I would only buy that if my stock one broke or if I like the looks of a lil orange on my engine. Thanks for reading hope it helps.

I upgraded to this plug for my two Tao Tao ATM 50cc scooters. Not a huge jump in performance (even though I swapped out the stock spark plug caps to a higher performance model at the same time), but it was easy to install after watching a YouTube video, and the online mechanic types think it will do well for the long haul. The scooters both seem to idle better with this new plug, but on the road they still accelerate at about the same rate.

used this sparkplug to get a better spark on my generator. it does not seem to perform better but still i think this is better quality than the chinese plug which was installed at the factory
