Junk bots
My 6yo loves them but they are quite hard to assemble

Brilliant toy
Delivered quickly, a brilliant toy. Our 5 year old boy got them this morning and only stopped playing to eat lunch! No screen, no telly just pure, uninterrupted, imaginative play! Lovely touch of sweets in the packet too. Great product, many thanks

It's such a cool concept on paper. All the dinky parts, the STEM aspect to it... little me would be DROOLING over this toy. But it just doesn't work. The modules were functional and all the parts were provided, but putting it together is a NIGHTMARE. The ball joints simply don't fit the sockets. Maybe I'm just too frail for a toy like this, but I'm twice the age of the target demographic! How is a wee tyke supposed to put this together if I can't!? I managed to make two robots without breaking my fingers but that's saying A LOT. There's clear strain on the plastic pieces. The parts are just so small and finicky, you can't get a good grip on them. Every joint I added to my robot I was either thinking "well, this is never gonna fit" or "well, that's never coming out". On my third robot, a ball join broke INSIDE THE SOCKET rendering the entire base useless. I'll sadly be returning this. While I think it's incredible for the money and I love all the cute novelty parts, it's just too much effort. Be warned, if you're getting this for a kid, prepare for an unwanted manicure, a fresh set of callouses, a cluster headache, and a potentially crying child!

My son is on the spectrum and absolutely loves these figurines for stimming and creating. I highly recommend them for kids. Mine is 12 and spends a great deal of time building fun and imaginative creations. They really keep him engaged. One tip for parents: some of the pieces are quite small, so I recommend using something like a muffin tin to store them. That way nothing gets lost and, just as importantly, nothing gets accidentally eaten by curious pets. I also recommended them to his speech therapist and she purchased some as well to use with clients.

This is a great toy for kids who like to build robots/ characters etc. I got it for my 9-year-old and he used the set to make new additions to his other Junkbots. He got excited when he saw the box.
