Menopause and DIM It's 3am I woke up shirt drenched! I have insomnia, night sweats, my hair dry and breaking off, mood swings, acne, weight gain, I be hot then super cold. The Dr ordered 10 different blood test $1067 still no answers... God if you tryna take me out just say that!!!!!🥵🥵🥵 Started DIM Day1-2/18 still horrible night seeats, insomnia, up at 1am, Exhaustion all day Like I was so tired I couldn't keep my eyes open at the computer at work Day 2- 2/19 night sweats, gas, insomnia, up at 130 am, exhaustion all day Day3- 2/20 I woke up with the absolute worst tension headache .It lasted all day I took some Tylenol it helped a lil... I fell asleep at 8pm woke up at 11pm (3 hours later) soaking wet thought it was the night sweats again NOPE!! I peed on myself yes at 39 yo I peed in the bed, I hv not peed on myself since I was 12yo and I couldn't stop laughing.Im going crazy!! Silver lining no night sweats tonight 🤷🏾♀️ also I think it may be helping with my skin, not sure yet tho. Day4-2/21 No headache this morning but I am tired maybe bc I peed my self at 11pm last night and couldn't go bk to sleep 🙃 I had a tension headache about halfway through the day. Still not sure about it helping my acne. Today was a good day no mood swings. But I did smoke some maryjane today soo today's results might be off.. Day 5 - 2/22 OMG!! I slept til 4am this morning!!! I went to sleep bout 10pm last night. That's a good night's rest for me. I ain't slept that long in months. I did have a little sweating butt I fell asleep w/out my fan on and I didn't have to change my shirt soon as I woke up. Slight tension headache this am. Oh yeah I have been been going to the bathroom regularly every morning (poop) I'm not regular by far so that's a plus too. Oh I did start my cycle 1 week early today and I had no cramps. 🤞🏾 Day6- 2/23 Aggravated on my period cramps. No fan. I slept til 4am which is good. Minimal night sweats Tension headache alllday Day 7- 2/ 24 Woke up at 430 i went to sleep at like 10pm so that's a good night's rest considering. A little night sweat Minimal. Saving me!!!
So glad I gave this a chance. It's been YEARS to try and find a diagnosis. A doctor recently suggested I might have PCOS. Going in for final tests in a couple weeks. I have all the symptoms and then some... (Hair loss, hair on my chin, weight issues, rosacea/cystic acne, bone and joint pain, sleep issues, IBS with putrid gas...) I googled "natural remedies for pcos" and voila! This stuff came up on Amazon. I read the reviews and ordered it. I DID HAVE A HEADACHE FOR TWO WEEKS... even WITH eating enough and drinking more water than I normally do, but wanted so desperately for it to work. Let me just say, I have been able to control some of my symptoms with diet. I was vegan and followed a JERF diet for a long time, and I'm still really careful (limited dairy, no meat except occasional fish, no trash foods like white bread/sugar/processed junk), but I feel like I have my life back with this pill!!!😍 Here's what it's doing for me : First, I can eat SOME dairy without my face looking like raw ground beef the next morning. I still try to avoid it because consuming those extra hormones when you have a hormone disorder =no Bueno. BUT, I can eat a small ice cream cone when I go on "special times" with my kids. Really helped with my complexion. Second, the putrid gas is gone! I'm telling you, it was enough to make my husband hate me. It smelled like DEATH. If I ate ANY sugar...watch out, cause a bomb was coming. NO MORE! 😇 This benefit alone is worth the headache for two weeks. It was so embarrassing and I didn't feel like I could go anywhere! Third, I have my tiny waist back. I would not say that I lost weight. The scale stayed the same until recently when I started intermittent Fasting. But a couple weeks into taking this pill I noticed the swelling in my face was gone, and my waist looked like it used to! My husband noticed, as well! It MAY have assisted with losing weight, as well. I am a fitness freak already, but I had a very stubborn 6 pounds to lose and they were driving me crazy. I've done intermittent fasting before and all it did was help me maintain my weight, which was better than gaining weight (even on my strict Vegan/JERF diet). I saw that initial difference in my waist and face, and it gave me hope. I started intermittent Fasting again continuing with my strict diet and this time the weight is coming off! I was initially a little disappointed that I couldn't eat what I want to and still lose the weight, because after reading some of these reviews I kind of hoped for a magic pill... It isn't a magic pill, but like I said, it gave me hope and I DID see a difference in my face and waist. Undeniably so... Fourth, the hair on my face is less. I still have some, but there IS a recognizable difference. My skin on/under my chin and jaw line is smoother and the hair isn't so thick and embarrassing. Still plucking, to be fair. The hair on my head may be growing in thicker as well. Verdict still out on that one, but it has felt like it's growing back in. Really hope that's not wishful thinking as I lost a lot of hair and it was heartbreaking to me. I have taken Diatomaceous earth (food grade) and biotin, as well, in the past with good results. Just FYI. Fifth, I FEEL better. Almost normal, which is HUGE for me. I'm telling you, I thought I had cancer or MS or something! This pill is saving me, and I'm so beyond grateful! It won't fix all your problems, and it's not a magic pill, but combined with really healthy habits IT IS MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN MY HEALTH, which is more than what most doctors have done for me ❤️ THANK YOU!

Read this for a REAL review
I bought this product originally because I had very severe cystic acne. I had tried absolutely everything, so I figured that this supplement couldn’t hurt, right? If it matters, I’m 23 year old female, of decent/good physical health, and I’m not on any hormonal medications or BC. I am taking 120mg of calcium d-glucarate (alongside DIM) as well. Guys. When I tell you that my skin has been breakout-free, I mean it. I used to wake up in the morning with 5-10+ new severe pimples every day, despite using the finest topicals, AND derm prescribed antibiotics (amongst 100 other rituals I tried for clear skin). I was even considering going on a second round of accutane before trying DIM. But now, I wake up with ZERO new pimples, and my skin is clearly way less inflamed and red. I had already noticed a change in my skin by day 5, so it worked very quickly for me. That’s the biggest change from this pill, and it’s been invaluable for my self confidence and bank account. Within the first week of taking this pill, I also dropped 1.5 inches off my waist measurement. Seriously—that’s how much bloating I almost immediately let go of. My feet, hands, face, and waistline are way less bloated and swollen. For example, my jawline is much more defined, and I have no more undereye or eyelid puffiness. In my face, I look like I’ve lost 15 pounds. At the gym, I notice myself having much more stamina and pep in my step, when I used to be so fatigued between weightlifting sets. I could go on and on about the benefits, but I think it’s important to note some of the side effects you might experience during the first few days of taking DIM that may otherwise scare you off if you haven’t done your research on this product. First and foremost— the morning after my second dose of DIM, I awoke with a headache. It was a moderate tension headache, and it lasted 48 hours more or less, slowly getting better with time and OTC pain meds. This happens when your body is working hard to balance the hormones that were super imbalanced in your body. This headache WILL go away, and is not bad at all. It is by no means a “migraine.” You will not “NeEd tO bE RuShEd tO tHe HoSpItAL” over it. Come on. Secondly— I see lots of reviews mentioning that the color of your urine will change. Yes, this is somewhat true, but not fully. The DIM metabolites have an orangey-red color, and they are flushed out through your urine. That is the color you are seeing. If you’ve ever taken a B vitamin, and noticed that it later turned your urine a bright yellowy tone for a short time—DIM does the same thing, but a different color. So no, that isn’t blood in your urine (unless you’re experiencing major UTI or kidney illness symptoms, obviously). It’s just your body getting rid of your waste, as it does. Thirdly— I definitely recommend taking this with a meal. It made me a little nauseous the one time I took it on an empty stomach, which makes sense. This is a supplement that comes from vegetables, so it’s much better for your body to digest it alongside food in order for it to be 100% properly absorbed. Overall, I would definitely recommend. The short headache was a very small price to pay for the amazing benefits I already feel from this supplement. I cannot wait to see how my health and appearance will continually improve! As always, speak to your doctor if you have any questions.

This supplement has helped me in Perimenopause
I’m perimenopausal and about 9 months into my hormone journey one bioidentical testosterone and progesterone replacement. My NP believe the symptoms I was still having while being on hormones was from high estrogen or estrogen dominance. I was incredibly anxious, spotting for 9-10 days about every 10-15 days, not sleeping well, feeling irritable, and a lot of hair fall. After, lowering my dose of injectable testosterone and starting this supplement every day I am seeing improvements. I have used one whole bottle. I’m back to a regular cycle, my mood is stable, I’m sleeping and the anxiety is nearly gone. I’m day 2 of starting this supplement, I sis get a very bad headache that was not eased with ibuprofen. After reading reviews I determined this could be a common starting side effect for some. For about a week I opened the capsule and dumped half the contents out before swallowing to allow my body to get used to it. After I week I took the full capsules daily and had no headache. I have come back to repurchase this for a second time because I believe it has helped with my symptoms from which estrogen.

Relief after so many years of perimenopause
Let me start this review by saying that perimenopause sucks. The body changes affect the body and the mind. I started when I was in my late 30s and am now 44. Went to doctors with no intervention for the exception of anti anxiety meds and a cardiac workup. "Your labs look fine" kinda answers. Panic attacks with skipped heartbeats, horrific allergic reactions, so much so that my eyes would swell shut from histamine overdrive. Painful knees and back. Ridiculous weight gain in a short period of time. I was willing to try anything. Failure of General practitioners had led me to do my own research and symptom management, most of which are hormonal imbalances (estrogen and testosterone). I, for one, was iffy about HRT (hormone replacement therapy) at first, but I was open to supplements that mimic such hormones. I was recommended this supplement from a fellow nurse coworker after we had a long discussion about the pitfalls of perimenopause, well, mostly complaints from me. Mainly hot flashes, joint pain, anxiety, and drenching night sweats. Anyway, at that time, any relief was welcomed. Here were my experiences: First week: I took it consistently right before work. So far, no side effects. No noticeable relief. Still waiting. Second week: I began to feel less anxious. The intensity of my hot flashes had decreased from a 10 to an 7, however, the length of time for each flash decreased to about half the amount of time. Third week: I gave my coworker an update on how the supplement was working. I had to do an true assessment. My hot flashes had decreased in intensity of 10/10 to 5/10, frequency of 5x a day to 2 x a day, and the length of time decreased to about 10 minutes instead of the usual 30 min to an hour. Have you ever felt so normal again that you don't even notice how bad it was? That was what I was feeling! Relief from the torrid of sweat and burning red face and ears. Because of that, I have been getting better sleep (from patchy 3 hours to 5 hours straight through). Now don't get me wrong, I still had other symptoms at play. I still woke up sweaty, but not drenched, and my labile moods were still there, but not enough to warrant punching someone in the face. Month 2: Now, most of the sucky symptoms like hot flashes are just slight annoyances now. My sleep has gotten better because the drenching sweats has decreased to the level where I could just turn down the AC and sleep on cool, bamboo sheets (they do wonders BTW). I don't wake up in the middle of the night as much anymore, maybe once a week though. Intrusive thoughts have lessened. I have now used DIM for almost 3 months now. I am super happy that I was introduced to this. Now, mind you, this worked out for me, thank the gods. I still get anxiety that a cold compress on my neck or a cold bath can't help (it shocks your system back to rest and digest). I would suggest that you use this product, but also do your own research on how to manage your other symptoms. I also suggest HRT from reputable medical professionals that check specific hormone levels pertaining to perimenopause. I believe this supplement has helped with my symptom management, and it has improved my quality of life. Also, for the price of this type of comfort and peace of mind, it is a great deal! I hope you find my experience helpful.

PMDD help with supplements
I want to write this to help people diagnosed with PMDD that can't or don't want to get on birth control and don't want to get on antidepressants. I am not doing this as a doctor but someone that has experienced it and found a solution that works for me. It may not work for everyone else. That being said I'll keep it short as possible. I had severe postpartum depression after I quit breastfeeding my daughter. Very severe. I let it go too long because I didn't know what was going on. The doctor prescribed me lexapro and it worked a little at first but it took it a full 8 weeks to work better and even then it didn't get rid of all of the symptoms. It was a low dose but I didn't want a big dose because I knew I would be getting off of it soon and just wanted the help for a little while. I wish I would have started my supplements then instead of the lexapro because I now know hormone imbalance was my problem. My prescription ended at 5 months after starting it and that put my daughter at 1 year. I weaned off of it and it wasn't too bad but I started getting really weird symptoms. After I would ovulate I would go into a rage for 2 weeks with severe mood swings. I told my doctor about it and they wanted to put me on birth control which I can't take due to the type of migraines I get. So they wanted to put me on Prozac. I took one dose of Prozac and it made me feel super weird so I was determined to find out what the root of my problem was instead of taking Prozac. I also was having pain on the right side under my ribs and my throat kept having a swollen feeling. After tons of research I found it is very common to be hypo/hyper thyroid after a baby and that estrogen dominance is very common. The pain in my side was due to excess estrogen messing up my gall bladder function and the swollen feeling in my throats was due to the hypothyroid. I also had the other symptoms that goes along with these two issues i.e. Mood swings, anxiety attacks, hot and cold flashes, sleepiness, irritability and so on. I did research and started taking these two supplements. https://www.amazon.com/Thyroid-Support-Supplement-Vegetarian-Ashwagandha/dp/B00M13NHFY/ref=sr_1_2?s=hpc&ie=UTF8&qid=1495635876&sr=1-2-spons&keywords=thyroid+support&psc=1 https://www.amazon.com/DIM-BioPerine-Metabolism-Menopause-Aromatase/dp/B006KL4TYG/ref=sr_1_4_s_it?s=hpc&ie=UTF8&qid=1495635915&sr=1-4&keywords=Dim Thyroid support and DIM. I also took some other additional supplements to help with the estrogen metabolizing because I was miserable and desperate. https://www.amazon.com/Thorne-Research-Picolinate-Absorbable-Supplement/dp/B002TPK1F8/ref=sr_1_4_s_it?s=hpc&ie=UTF8&qid=1495636038&sr=1-4&keywords=zinc+picolinate https://www.amazon.com/Thorne-Research-D-Glucarate-Detoxification-Capsules/dp/B0012MZZLE/ref=sr_1_sc_3_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1495637884&sr=8-3-spell&keywords=calcium+d+glucarte I can go into detail on what these do but I'm trying to keep this brief. Anyway they started working within a week. I started feeling better. I took 2 DIM a day for 2 months in addition to the normal doses of the other supplements. I gradually kept feeling better but I'm an impatient person and I had been feeling bad for so long I wanted it to feel totally normal again as soon as possible. After more research I found that Curcumin helps you feel better while the DIM and Thyroid support does it's job. It took me a long time to get to feeling this way so it would take a while for me to get out of it. I ordered one brand of curcumin that's no longer available but I've replaced it with this one https://www.amazon.com/Turmeric-Bioperine-Available-Standardized-Curcuminoids/dp/B01DBTFO98/ref=sr_1_4_s_it?s=hpc&ie=UTF8&qid=1495636427&sr=1-4&keywords=curcumin I started feeling like myself at Day 5 of taking this. It's amazing. I sometimes take up to 9 a day but it's on days I feel particularly terrible which always coincides with my hormone cycle (or slight hangover) but I always take at least 3 a day. No side effects or any issues with this. It's amazing. It keeps me sane while the dim and the thyroid support correct the issues I've had. I just wanted to write this to give people an option to try before antidepressants. You should know within a week of these supplements will help you or not. I'm not doctor. I'm not trying to get anyone to stop taking their meds. I am simply putting out there an option that worked for me and took a lot of trial and error to figure out. So my daily supplement regimen that initially worked for me. I have since lowered my doses after 2 months of this. 2 DIM by smokey mountain naturals one morning one night. I would recommend only taking 2 if your estrogen dominance is severe and only for 1 month. After that lower to 1 a day. Thyroid Support by 1 body 2 in morning 1 Calcium D Glucarate by Thorne research 3 turmeric curcumin with bioperine by Schwartz bioresearch sometimes more 1 double strength zinc picolinate by Thorne research in morning Fish oil in morning Relaxed mood gummies by vitafusion Neuromag magnesium l-threonate by life extension at night. 1 scoop. I now only take 1 DIM 2 Thyroid Support 2 Relaxed mood gummies 3 Curcumin and occasionally more throughout the day. Magnesium at night. It's a lot of supplements and some are a little expensive but I prefer this to Prozac. Please PM me if you have any questions. I've tried a lot of things in addition to these that I didn't list because I wanted to keep this as short as possible. Again this is just what worked for me and I am not a doctor. I was just desperate for anything to help me that wasn't an antidepressant.

Works great, but not without severe side effects (for me at least)
(Suspected PCOS and Endo) First I want to say this stuff has been a GAME CHANGER, when, of course, the vomiting stops and the migraine subsides… Every morning since I started this, I’ve woken up with a terrible migraine at the same time every day, despite taking this product as directed once in the morning after I wake (and the vomiting stops.) If I take a Goody’s powder when the migraine first comes on, I’m good to go for the rest of the day, and I feel great! I’m happier, have more energy, my skin is plump and glowing, my lips are full and my usually pale olive skin is more pigmented (all signs that my estrogen levels are evening out.) However, if I don’t take a Goody’s in time, the migraine progresses to a level making it impossible to function, then the nausea kicks in. Some days it leads to projectile vomiting and running to the bathroom (other end.) As soon as I’m able to keep a Goody’s down though, all lessens then stops and I’m back to feeling great! It’s a very strange phenomenon, and one I can’t figure out. It’s been 5 days of taking goody’s powder every day, which is very strong and not good for my stomach or kidneys (I’m already feeling the effects of that.) I fear if I can’t get rid of the problem, I’ll have to stop the supplement, which would be a real shame as it’s the most normal I’ve felt in quite a while. However, dealing with a migraine and vomiting from 6am to noon every day is not ideal… I’ll try to update this review if I figure it out.

Read this review to AVOID SIDE EFFECTS
I did a lot of research before taking this supplement, as I was afraid of the debilitating side effects that others reported, as I'm very sensitive to everything. It is SO important that you take this with Calcium D Glucarate. If you start the Calcium D Glucarate with the DIM, it will help your body avoid getting poisoned from too much free floating estrogen going into your system. The DIM frees up the estrogen to be carried out, but it can be overwhelming to your liver if it releases too much at once, and it won't be carried out, it will be reabsorbed and make you really sick. It's a 2-step detox. Dim frees it up, Calcium D Glucarate binds to estrogen in the liver and deactivates it. It also it inhibits beta-glucuronidase, which is an enzyme made by gut bacteria that causes estrogen to be reabsorbed. This company sells both supplements for a reason. I started both at the same time four days ago and so far, the only side effect I've had is a very mild headache for about an hour and that's it. Also drink lots of water as others have stated and exercise to help with the detox process. Now for the good news, it's only been 4 days but my hot flashes have almost completely gone away. I used to wake up drenched in the night and was having trouble sleeping. Last night I slept 10 hours straight with no hot flashes! My mood feels sunny and calm, my stomach feels flatter like it's deflating, my psoriasis feels less inflamed, my face looks thinner like the water weight is leaving my body, I feel like myself again and hopefully it continues to get better and better. I'm 43 and over the last 2 years I started gaining fat around my hips and waist, then recently the hot flashes and insomnia and anxiety started. I could be sitting talking to someone and feel the sweat start dripping down my body. All my ladies out there know just what I'm talking about. It's awful! I work out and eat well but the cellulite and weight gain is so frustrating. This supplement is giving me hope that maybe I can start losing this jiggly fat that came out of nowhere! I plan on coming back to give a long term review once I've been on this a few months but wanted to make sure others see to take the calcium d glucarate. I hope this helps someone! We ladies have to stick together. Aging is no joke! Love to all :)

BREAST CYSTS GONE
I want to share my experience but also be transparent in that I used a few things to resolve my breast cysts and cyclical breast pain within ONE cycle !! DIM I feel was the leading factor along with IODINE— I have a holistic background and try to manage and heal things naturally . Since I discontinued breastfeeding my daughter 5 years ago, I’ve been having horribly painful , HEAVY breasts during my luteal phase (from ovulation until period, so, the 2 weeks before period ) that blow up like 2 sizes every single month. It become a norm for me and I figured it was hormonal and normal. ITS NOT NORMAL . It’s actually a sign of imbalance hormones likely caused by estrogen dominance. I started getting a bit concerned when I’d feel a sharp pain on the left breast randomly during those times , but not the right . I have health anxiety so I would worry I had breast can**r or something brewing. Well recently, I had a particularly difficult few months; special needs mama running a full time business and my child was going through a severe mental psychosis , I was getting little to no sleep, in and out of the hospital, and eating trash whilst gulping coffee and next to no water. I’m a herbalist so I know the importance of medicinal foods , herbs , supplements, water and sleep but when life got impossible it went out the window (lesson well learned btw- NEVER THROW YOUR HEALTH ON THE BACK BURNER !! ) - I digress . Following this difficult time, my luteal phase rolls along and BOOM - sharp pain in the left knocker , sore heavy breasts ect, but this time the left pain didn’t stop it was baaaad, and my god, I found a lump . It was visible to the skin and RED. Even though I KNOW lumps are common and likely not cancer, and the development of this one was so sudden, I automatically was convinced I had it. I was SCARED . Lump was like a jumbo gumball size . I felt like it wasn’t movable and rock hard and from everything I’d read that meant it wasn’t a cyst which was terrifying . After a big panic and puddle of tears I got to work. Firstly i booked an ultrasound because they can determine if it’s a cyst or needs further testing . Important info: DONT do an ultrasound during the luteal phase !!! It was horrible that I had to wait 2 weeks to find out , BUT it’s best to go the week after your period when your hormones are leveled again because breasts can get lumpy and weird in your luteal phase . I immediately went on a healing protocol - whether it was a cyst or cancer , Its a sign of imbalance and I wanted it gone. Here’s what I did : I prioritized sleep . 7 hours MINIMUM and at the correct time . Before 11 to access the healing hours . I intermittent fastet 16 hours daily . (Please do your own research and or consult a naturopath as I am not permitted to provide medical advice , this is just my experience based on my background, research and comfort levels) DIM LUGOlS IODINE 6 drops of 2% (From what I’ve understood a telltale sign of iodine deficiency is sore breasts /cysts and general breast issues; it’s a must for general breast health and prevention ) EVENING PRIMROSE OIL - 3000mg VIT E - 1200iu I think these 4 were the most important and impactful Additionally I took SERRAPEPTASE which breaks down scar tissues , mucus , cysts etc And I took herbs / supplements to support my liver because if your liver isn’t functioning optimally your hormones will not be in Balance . This included: milk thistle, artichoke extract, tumeric/curcumin I also made sure to take my regular supplements such as vit d + k2 , b vitamins , magnesium , fish oil I drank warm herbal teas of all sorts all day in place of plain water like mushrooms , morninga , green tea , mullein etc . Ok so topically - each night …i painted the breast with iodine, rubbed magnesium lotion on it and I wore a castor oil pack on the breast (look it up)- castor oil penetrates deeper than any other oils into the tissues - healing & promoting lymph flow . I also tried to take warm baths with magnesium flakes nightly. I also practiced mindfulness and used sound therapy via playing my F NOTE singing bowl everyday- F note is associated with the heart and surrounding organs as well as the breasts . Sound frequencies align with our bodies frequencies and can heal imbalances Within 10 days the lump was nearly gone !! Ultrasound confirmed it was 2 cysts . The best part ?? Those sore breasts I was getting every single month for the past five years? The next luteal phase I didn’t have an ounce of breast tenderness! I actually cried my eyes out to my husband. I couldn’t believe that it was gone! It’s crazy what deficiencies can cause, and our body really speaks to us if you pay attention… we have a lot of power in our health ! Namaste, everyone .I hope this was helpful.

Amazing product- works for mood swings ❤️
These are a game changer for me. I take 1 every day and it helps me so much as a mood stabilizer. My estrogen must be super high especially before my period because usually I get very bad mood swings and lots of anxiety, with these I feel way calmer and focused. It really works good for me. I haven't got any headache from these. They actually helped my menstrual migranes go away.
