After reading a number of very positive reviews on reversing cameras I decided to buy the Auto Vox TW-1 for my Campervan. The deal clincher for me was that it needed no internal wiring to existing car electrics. The unit came from Amazon very securely packaged with all necessary bits and instructions. Fitting the camera unit behind the number plate was simple and took about 10 mins from start to finish. My only challenge was where to locate the monitor unit as I have a textured dashboard. As the van doesn't have a rear view mirror i decided to locate the monitor there and tucked the associated power wire into the headlining and trim. Once powered up the monitor was easy to set up to my preferences and gave a really clear and bright image of the area behind the van. This will help immensely when reversing the van and probably gives more information as to what's behind you than a rear view mirror would. Very happy with my purchase. I must also comment on the customer service I've already received. Vicky reached out to me after I'd applied for my warranty extension to ask if I was happy with the unit and had any problems fitting it. This is the first time that customer services has contacted me first and bodes well for the future with a company that wants to ensure it’s customers are satisfied. Would definitely recommend.

I've looked at a range of reversing cameras. Some are not wifi and need holes drilling into the car to get the camera lead into the hatchback, and a pain to route the cable through the car. Others are wifi but the camera still needs a power lead, so again drilling to get the wire through the hatch by the numberplate and then having to tap into the reversing light lead. This is far simpler. The camera attaches with a very strong and well designed bracket to the numberplate. It has a rechargeable battery which I will recharge every few months on the car using a power bank. And the screen has a plug into the 12v socket with a USB socket to feed other devices and an easy access switch to switch it on. In addition it is packaged very nicely, and the instruction book is very clear and easy to read, in excellent english. Highly recommended it works well.

After a fair bit of research on wireless reversing cameras I purchased this camera because i wanted: Truly wireless Easy install Competitive price. Arrived in quality packaging with clear step by step instructions. Units looked robust and of good quality. I charged as instructed and upon turning on the monitor and camera the linked immediately. I haven't hidden the monitor wire as may be selling van soon. Camera was mounted at the bottom right of number plate so as not to block door handle or number plate lights. Quality display with a number of adjustments available. 15 mins to install. Supplier communication is prompt and supportive. Only just fitted so cant comment on long term reliability but very happy so far.

We purchased this item as we had a new company van which didn’t come with the reversing cam option. To prevent staff crashing into things we opted to buy this camera system. The screen was really easy to fit into the cabin on the window, plugs straight into the socket next to the steering wheel. Screen comes on when you start the engine (for a user defined amount of time) and when you want to reverse, you push the button at the side of the screen to wake it and then the screen comes on. Fitting of the camera was really easy, unscrew the reg plate, stick on the provided adhesive pad and push the camera to it. Screw the reg plate back on. Camera tilts up and down by twisting it. Charges by usb, we use the van multiple times a day and the battery lasts around 2 months of daily use in the camera. We did have an issue where the camera died, contacted the seller and Kaya on customer support sent us a new cam out within 2 days. Replaced and has been spot on ever since. Highly recommend this system to anyone wanting a reversing cam, without needing to modify anything or run any cables between the camera and the screen.

I bought this camera around six months ago, after almost bashing the back of my campervan on a car park bollard. I have poor visibility out of the back window on my Renault Trafic as there’s a cupboard blocking the view, so I needed a reversing camera. Initially, I thought a ‘normal’ camera with wires would suffice (they’re a bit cheaper), thinking I’d manage to wire it in. But, I wasn’t able to - far too much hassle. So, I spent a bit more on this camera, and am very glad I did. It was easy to fit behind the number plate. I had to cut a bit off the mounting plate (easy enough) as I could only place it off-centre due to the number plate light being in the way. The screen in the cab picked up the camera quickly, and has never failed. I have mounted the screen using a clip-on phone holder. I charge the camera using a powerbank about once every four to five weeks - I was concerned about having to charge the camera regularly before I bought it, but it does seem to hold the charge very well. All in all, I am very happy with my purchase. Simple, effective, and I can now park in much smaller spaces with confidence.
