I needed a travel bag for a long trip to Europe. The last time we went to London my daughter had her phone pickpocketed. I used a backpack but it didn't have locking zippers so I was afraid to wear it on my back in a crowd. It could easily have been unzipped and things taken by a pickpocket. I literally ordered 12 travel bags from Amazon. I had criterion I needed to adhere to and this is the ONLY bag that met them all. First- Finding a bag with a side pocket big enough to fit a large water bottle was number 1. This one is perfect. It will zip for smaller bottles and unzip for larger. The rest barely held the smallest bottle. this one will hold my Yeti drink cup! Second- It also has self-locking zippers that are great! The others you had to have your own carabiners to lock them, if they even had the metal loop that you could lock the zipper on to at all. Third- This one has a slash proof strap that is adjustable to the perfect length to either hang on your shoulder or do crossbody. Fourth- It also is RIFD protected, which in a crowd is a must for me. Fifth- There are plenty of compartments and inside the compartments are credit card slots and additional pockets. Sixth- it's small enough to be light and convenient. Smaller than a backpack or even my regular everyday purse, but large enough to carry everything I need when I'm out sightseeing for the day, with extra room in case I might buy something and want to carry it in my bag. There are not a lot of colors to choose from but I got the green and it is really pretty. All in all I absolutely love this bag. I am traveling with it right now and find it perfect.I was so glad I finally found the right travel bag. It's crazy that the others I got all call themselves a travel bag, but they do not really meet ALL the needs that people must have when they are traveling. If you are looking for the perfect travel bag, get this one!

I bought this for an upcoming overseas trip, and wanted to be able to carry all my essentials with me, both on the plane and while I'm at my destination. I LOVE the size of this bag, the anti-theft features and all the zippered pockets to help organize my belongings. It's also large enough to store my Galaxy Tab S4 tablet, which is fantastic. The reason for only 4 stars on my review is because the water bottle compartment leaves a lot to be desired. It's entirely too small for all but the smallest water bottles. Plus, the mesh bottle holder is awfully flimsy. What I'd like to see is a fabric water bottle pocket instead of the mesh, and one that is large enough to accommodate a decent sized water bottle. I have that on my luggage, so I know it can be done. If Travelon had this feature, this bag would be the perfect carry on bag.

I bought this bag for a trip to Europe, it worked great. The bag strap is wide, so it is comfortable on the shoulder, and long enough to adjust to be longer for a cross-body strap, so i felt it was very secure from pick-pockets, etc. The material is durable and lots of zippers and internal pockets so it felt more secure to put money in double zipped pockets. It has a little flash light...kind of nice idea. Its not too big, and not too small...just right size. I like the extra pocket for a water bottle or can I put sunglasses in it..... Exterior is kind of plain, and stands out more as a 'tourist'....but practicality overshadows that.... It seems very well made, and fabric went through rain and international flights - and still looks new....so I think this is a perfect travel purse/bag.....It will be my go-to travel purse for future trips. I am also a pilot, so i can see using this bag for flying too....water bottle pocket is great.

I like it. It seems to be well constructed with good closures. I am very pleased with the security features, especially the RFID and anti cutting strap. Not too heavy for the size and nice compartment to store various sized and shaped items. This bag is shaped to be worn most efficiently with the strap on the opposite side of the head from the bag for security purposes. The bag can then be under your arm or slightly in front of the arm or centered. The height adjustment is liberal enough so that individuals of various height will be comfortable with whatever length feels best to them. To me this bag will carry my passport, drivers license, cash, credit cards,meds, iPad and phone. There will be room to carry my noise canceling headphones when going on a flight along with the usual power pack, chargers and cables. I wear this personal item bag along with a authorized carry on sized pack. This to me is perfect so that my hands are free all the time in case something happens. No need to dig around when at my assigned seat delaying other passengers and myself. If the overhead is filled the pack goes under the seat in front and I still have my needed stuff in this bag.

Fantastic purse. Fits a lot of items, but does not feel intrusively large. I took it on a trip to Charleston, South Carolina, where I needed to carry everything for a 12+ hour day of sightseeing. I like the material, it can easily be wiped off. My only critique is that the metal hardware on the strap is uncomfortable against your skin. Maybe if there was a cover that slipped over it, it would be more comfortable. I did have to buy a 20 ounce reusable bottle to fit in the side pocket. My 24 ounce bottle seem to want to tip out. The strap does get uncomfortable, but keep in mind. I had it on for 12+ hours and I did load it down with a lot of items. I just changed shoulders I was keeping it on every few hours.

I used this bag as both hand luggage and an everyday bag on a recent city break. The locking zips and security pockets for credit cards are very useful anti theft deterrents. The bag is deceptively spacious with room for my kindle, phone, glasses, passport, purse, hairbrush in lots of different compartments , with space left over for gloves and a separate and very useful water bottle pocket. All in all I am very pleased with this bag and think it is very good value for money.

Very well built, so many pockets, safety design, comfortable to wear…

The bag was fine, but the LED light was missing from its hook. Amazon gave me a $20 store credit, but it doesn't show up at checkout, so no good.

One of my favorite Travelon bags, is compact, but holds a lot. Pretty color too.
