Comprehensive Japanese workbook covers Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji. Ideal for beginners to build a strong foundation in reading, writing, and understanding the language. Review: Very comprehensive and easy to follow book for learning Japanese - If you want to learn Japanese, I would highly recommend this book. It has everything you need to get you started on your journey and much more. If you are aiming to take JLPT level 5, this is the perfect guide. The excellent introduction section is a very comprehensive and explains the three types of Japanese letters with some great pointers on grammar and pronunciation. It also has several useful reference tables for the various characters and basic Kanji. I really appreciated the space to practise writing the characters with their correct stroke order and my vocab has already widened considerably. I would also recommend downloading the free audio files as hearing a native Japanese speaker pronounce the characters and words is essential. I also enjoyed the exercises at the end of each section. You wonโt be disappointed with this book. There is a lot to look at on line, which can be distracting and Japanese is not the easiest language for a native English speaker! However, this book is very well thought out which makes it much easier to focus on the right things, and track your progress. Iโm really enjoying the journey. Review: Easy and paced learnin - Easy Learning I have purchased both of these books and I am using them regularly. I find them easy to work with and extremely helpful. I would recommend these to anyone wishing to learn Japanese

Very useful
As I'm studying Japanese on my own in my free time, it was very important for me that the study material is clear and not too heavy. I don't like books with only text in them but these book have pictures and bigger size fonts too so it's also easier for the eyes. I purchased both books, and I'm using them together every day. I like that there are different topics so it's even more enjoyable and you can choose whichever you wanna learn first. You can download the audio as well, so you can listen to the correct pronunciation of the words and sentences. Thanks to these I'm a bit more confident in my vocabulary and reading Hiragana so far but to learn the basics from these is the best. I will be less nervous when I start my language school in Japan next year :) I highly recommend these books :)

While some sites don't focus on writing Hiragana, just memorizing the character, I found it very useful to write each character which helped me remember it better. Especially the numbers: being able to count is one thing, but being able to write them also helps recall. I also liked the feature on the bottom of each page to let you write the character into words and slowly learn new vocabulary. The final chapters incorporate what you've learned into relevant expressions, like days of the week, months both present, future and past to further build your understanding. I will take this to Japan with me

Amazing Book I am very satisfied with my purchase, It exceeded my expectations. The quality observed in the structure and formatting, content, and typography of the book was unexpected and surprising, It's a great book for those who want to learn Japanese. I love how it starts with learning the characters and their pronunciation. The book covers the full set of 46 hiragana and katakana characters, including the dakoten (") and handakuten (*) dialects, as well as other written nuances such as -ya, -yo, -yu, and lowercase tsu. The exercises and audio files are numbered to match each On page lesson as the book covers 103 kanji, which surprised me again, the explanations are clear and straightforward. I highly recommend this book to anyone wanting to learn Japanese.
