Don't be put off by other's comments that the spools are small, they are NOT! I am sooo glad I ordered these! I live in North Idaho & over 1hr from the nearest Walmart & 2hrs from Joanns so its simply not feasable to run out & grab thread when I want to start a new project. And even if I did live closer I simpy can't afford to build up a decent thread supply from even Walmart! :( Both my daghter & I sew every day & we needed thread badly so after some hesitation I went ahead & ordered this... It arrived a week & 1/2 earlier than anticipated & I must say we are thrilled w/ this pkg of thread! They have 90yds more thread per spool than the $1.80-110yd spools of thread I'd been buying! We have already pre wound this thread on bobbins & have been sewing w/ it & its strong, we are thrilled!!! :D I'll be buying more ASAP!!! Also, I have had no problems finding the beginning of the spools. All of our thead ends were looped under a strand of thread right in the center of each spool...Thank you...

Lovely colors and well made. I have used a few of them for different projects and find the thread to be durable. I have an old school sewing machine that tends to be hard on thread and these little spools hold up. Shipping takes a couple of weeks, but if you are in a real hurry for thread there are so many stores that sell it, so for me shipping was not an issue. The spools are not super thick, but the picture is very accurate as to what to expect. I was very pleased.

I placed this order last night with other items and now the order information states that it shipped today, but with an estimated delivery date of between 10/24-11/13. They must be walking it to my door. This was an Add-On item and should be processed and received by 09/30 as was stated at checkout (2 day delivery). No Stars for this item as it is not being processed as promised but can't submit without at least one star.

I ordered this thread pack just to try it and was pleasantly surprised by both the quality and pretty colors. The colors are very bright so I decided to use it piecing and sewing down bindings on the charity quilts my quilt group makes since many of the fabrics we use are really wild. Our quilts are a full size and made of just about any kind of fabric from cotton to knits, wool and corduroy. This thread stitched up like a dream on all of the fabrics we used it on. I was able to wind 2 bobbins and stitch around 2+ quilts per spool of thread. I will definitely purchase this thread pack again as well as look for other color combinations. If you are a traditional quilter this would not be your thread of choice since it's polyester, but for our charity quilts and utility sewing this is just fine.

this is cheap thread and breaks easily in my sewing machine, it also creates a lot of lint and has lumps along the twine that you can not see in the spools and they get caught up in the needle. I wont buy this again.

I was really surprised by the quality of this thread. I have been having problems with my Brother sewing machine and I was tempted to exchange it for a different one at Costco but after trying this thread, I learned it was the thread I was previously using that was giving me issues. This thread has not broken on me, the bobbin is no longer getting tangled up, and the colors are superb! I am very happy with my purchase. I am working on a quiet book right now and with all the variety of colors, I know I can finish it up in no time.

As others have stated, the colors are beautiful and the quality appears to be great. However the spools have much larger holes than the standard sewing machine thread spool. Because of the wider spindle hole, they are very loose and I am not sure how this will affect the tension of my sewing machine stitches. One thing that concerns me is the shipping. It took almost a month for my shipment to arrive and according to the shipping and return labels the package was shipped directly from China. I guess it 's true that goods from the far East are manufactured and shipped more cheaper than items made here in the United States. Although this is a great deal for colorful thread @200 yards a spool. I won't be repurchasing this item.

This selection of threads contains a variety of different color threads that allow you to supplement color selection for those jobs that require hand sewing such as hemming, button application and repairs/ alterations Also it is a good idea to reinforce buttons on anything new that you purchase. I don't know f you have noticed that in an effort to cut cost, buttons are not as well sewn as they used to be. Much cheaper to use thread kits such as this to reinforce\/ tighten on button as opposed to buying new buttons. This thread kit gives many colors that most of us would have to go out and specially buy just for a small job which is inconvenient. This is a grea set.
