Worth the money
We use this tape to secure floor protection in commercial buildings. It sticks almost as well as duct tape and it leaves no residue. Prior to using 90 day tape, we would tape down a run of blue tape directly to the floor and then taped duct tape to the masonite and blue tape to secure the masonite in place. Now we use 90 day tape and get the same results without the expense and time of doubling taping.

Not so great on oil finished hardwood
I used this with builder board, to cover hardwood during a brief remodel. Laying it down was simple and it tears off easily. It held the builder board nicely - no slipping or ripping. The tape and board were in place for 20 days. When I pulled it up, it left a stripe of lighter wood where the tape was - it is not sticky residue. The floors are have an oil finish, last applied about 3 years ago.

BEWARE will remove the finish on your hardwood floor
BEWARE this tape will pull the finish off your hardwood floors. Used it down my hallway on floors that were refinished using bona traffic hd and waited more than a week and put this down the hallway to finish the remodel and when removed it 2 weeks later and it pulled the finish off. Now I have to sand and put another coat on the floors

Buyer beware of where u put it
Should only be placed on tile. If it’s a stained hardwood floor it will ruin the floor. Also never use it on painted walls. Will destroy the walls

Lives up to the name.
RamBoard is at it again. This tape is great. We used to use the self stick plastic sheathing but had issues during two projects that left behind a sticky residue. Called the company and they did nothing. Brought in a carpet cleaner to make it right for the client; that's when my Office Manager found this. I can't imagine that we will be going back to that plastic film ever again. Thank you, RamBoard.

C’mon Ram Board….
I think they’re close to getting a 90 day tape but there not there yet. I’d say 30% of it holds but I’m laying this on BRAND NEW LVP flooring and it doesn’t stick. If you went around and degreased every inch of where the tape was going to go then it might stay but just get the orange edge tape from Ram Board. Or just get 2.5 blue painters tape. It’s the same thing but cheeper. They’re both 14 day tape.

Read and Avoid!!!!!
Plot twist - this did not, in fact, protect our finish. Bought on June 30, 2025 and removed on July 22, 2025. 23 days vs 90. It took stain up off our hardwood floors. Avoid. Update - Amazon and Icon Protection (maker of Ram Board) have been aware of these product issues for at least two years but have not updated their advertising. If your property has been damaged contact Amazon and request a Sedgwick Claim Review. You can also contact Icon Protection directly. You have legal recourse. I will update this with our progres.
