As a person who suffers with very sensitive teeth, I've found this toothpaste excellent. It really does seem to thoroughly clean your teeth, but at the same time it easies pain and the effect lasts all day. And as a bonus, unlike other brands which make the same promises, it isn't expensive. Thoroughly recommended.

I switched to Sensodyne Repair & Protect Extra Fresh after my teeth started reacting to cold drinks like I’d poured liquid nitrogen directly onto the nerves. At one point even breathing in cold air felt disrespectful. First few uses, I wasn’t massively convinced. It’s toothpaste, not wizardry. But after about a week or so I realised I could drink cold water again without clenching every muscle in my body. The biggest difference for me was around the gum line and those random “zing” pains sensitive teeth give you for absolutely no reason. My teeth just felt calmer overall. Less reactive. Less dramatic. It’s got a decent fresh mint taste without feeling like your mouth has been pressure washed with mouthwash. Leaves your teeth feeling clean but doesn’t feel overly harsh or gritty either, which matters if your enamel’s a bit battered from whitening stuff, aggressive brushing or years of treating your teeth like rented equipment. Biggest pro is that it actually seems to work if you stick with it consistently. Not instantly, but noticeably over time. Only downside is the price because somehow toothpaste now requires a small mortgage agreement. Also, if your sensitivity is really bad, don’t expect miracles overnight - this is more “gradual repair crew arriving with tools” than instant pain shutdown. Overall though, it’s one of the few toothpastes where I’ve genuinely noticed a difference rather than just mint flavoured optimism in a tube!

My son had a sensitive tooth that no matter what the dentist couldn't fix. Then one of them recommended this stuff. He hasn't mentioned his tooth in months now. In fact if he does whine on about it again I'll know he hasn't been brushing his teeth the little scruff. Cheaper than Tesco and I didn't have to go into Tesco, which is always a bonus.

Excellent Toothpaste, I had some sensitivity on the tooth it got rid of it. My dentist also recommended it.

I’ve been using Sensodyne for a while now and honestly, it’s the only toothpaste that actually helps with my sensitive teeth. I used to get sharp pain when drinking cold water or eating ice cream, but since switching to this, that’s pretty much gone. It still gives that fresh, clean feeling after brushing, and it doesn’t have that overpowering minty burn that some other brands do. My teeth feel clean, my mouth feels fresh, and the sensitivity relief is a big bonus. Pros: • Actually works for sensitivity • Gentle but effective • Fresh taste without being too strong • Widely available Cons: • A bit pricier than regular toothpaste, but worth it for the results I keep coming back to Sensodyne because nothing else works quite the same. Definitely recommend if you’ve got sensitive teeth!
