Your ceiling and wall studs must be be in line.
One needs to read the installation instructions before purchasing. I was unable to find studs situated to properly install the item. The item is good, but worthless if I can't install it.

You have to have the right spot to use it.
it is good for the right situation. Indoor, high enough ceiling, items the can hang over the dowels.

My Shiela Maid Clothes Airer is the BEST!
I bought my Shiela Maid Clothes Airer quite a few years ago. It is still going strong and is the best way to dry those items you don't want to put in the dryer. I have it installed above my washer and dryer and it is really great. I don't have a lot of space for hanging wet clothes and this is just such an efficient use of space.
