Good lights
This product is very beautiful the lights shine very bright and they have nice colors, the only thing that probably can be improved is the adhesive . needs to have a stronger bond because on day 2 they started to fall down and I have to use clear tape to hold them in the wall. But overall it’s a really great product we love it k have a reel in no the of my kids rooms and they love it thank you.

Things You Might Be Wondering About...
I just bought these and I will let you guys know somethings that are not really explained well on the product details, descriptions and reviews. They do not come with any extra connectors, if you accidently mess the strip up ( my wife accidently clipped the blue circuit while sticking the lights to a sharp corner with her finger nail...) you will need to repair that strip with some of the 10mm connectors you can find for 3-6$ on here, we ordered a pack right after lol. The product I have is the 100ft kit (2 rolls of 50) and if you are wondering, I would not advise running both strips off of only 1 plug on the controller box. The lights her dimmer the farther they go with just 1 50ft strip, so I'd say it wont last the other 50 ft. With that being said you will need to use both plugs, one for each strip, then run both strips from the controller going opposite ways. Be sure to measure everything with a tape measurer and don't forget the extra length needed to go up the wall from the power outlet. They stick really well, but not so good when trying to get it back onto the backing paper if you peel it off too far. The remote that comes with it has a delay, is annoying and sometimes does it own thing...at least for me. When I downloaded the Tuya Smart App I was prepared to do all the 'plugging and unplugging the light strip at the socket 3 or 4 times' to get it to sync, but if you just hold the On (power) button located on the remote it came with for 5-10 seconds the lights will go red then start flashing, at that point the light strip showed up on the Tuya Smart App and I was rocking and rolling. I preformed a corner folding technique to get my lights around the corners without using L connecters, look it up on google 'Folding LED light Strips' make sure you do it at the 'cut here' places, they are the 4 horizontal copper lines. It worked out well, could have been better, but apparently I'm only one that will ever notice it...but that's all that counts right hah. I haven't connected it to Alexa yet because I'm hesitant about logging into Amazon through it (call me paranoid). I will update pictures in a bit, because I have a 6 year old and if I don't at least write this right now I will never be able to answer these questions for other buyers =P Merry Christmas!

Not so bright, colors not accurate but sticks well and easy to install, sort of..
First off, these weren't expensive but then again neither are a lot of the competitors so I guess these were just priced in par with the other led light strips sets. I would like to start as the adhesive is very strong so you must be certain of where you want to stick these. The lights aren't that bright but I bought them for an accent on my kid's bunk beds so they will mostly be on at night. so its ok. The green color is really nice as is the blue but the red is terrible. I know it could be better as I have seen a deep red in the beginning of my installation but now that I am done, the red looks orange and yellow. I checked all my connections and they are tight so I don't know why red is at fault now. If you don't have a lot of connectors in your run I suppose it would be better controlled and you could easily verify if you don't have a tight connection somewhere. I had so many twist and turns and used quite a few right angles and "T" connectors. But please be sure I verified each connection before fastening it completely. I suggest if you do use connectors to not remove the adhesive behind the ends being connected. Contrary to the instructions. With the adhesive backing still on, its a lot easier to slide the end under the terminals of the connector. If you remove the backing you'll have a hard time trying to slide the end under the terminals as the strip is thinner without the backing and its so sticky that it doesn't slide easily under the terminals. So leave the backing on, push it under the terminals and then use scissors to cut the backing for the rest of the strip after the connectors are secure and in place. I didn't realize this until halfway through the project and wish I knew it ahead of time - would have saved me a lot of frustrations. There is a slight hum when the lights are on. Not sure how much a deal it will be with my kids sleeping right there next to it but there is a hum. Probably not an issue if I used these elsewhere like behind a screen or tv but not by a bed...near my head. I wish you were able to cut these strips in smaller sections as I had some difficulty finding the best spot to cut to go around a corner. I wish I had more choices as to where to cut the strip as the dotted cutting lines are spread a little too thinly. So - I would buy these again, I'd buy extra connectors as I believe some were bad or at least some were harder to get a tight and secure connection. The connectors are cheap so buy extras.

Died after a year.
Had these lights for about a year now, it was difficult to put up but it was because of the texture of the wall (popcorn) so the light strip would stick to it then fall off after a few minutes. I had to resort to using transparent thumbtacks since tape didn't work either. I have an Alexa and using the app was difficult. I tried connecting to my Alexa with the app and I don't know if it was just me but nothing I did worked so I abandoned that idea, and then the app to control the lights wasn't working either. I just stuck with the remote and called it good. The lights themselves after I got them up stayed nice for a while. I liked having it on smooth so they changed colors while I was gaming. For the price it's not perfect with the difficulty of navigating the app and connectivity bit with just the remote and the lights itself was fine and worked for a while. Literally a few hours ago it stopped working. I tried unplugging and plugged the cord back into the outlet, which is difficult in itself because of the way I had set it up (extention cord and the cord for the lights are behind my TV and Entertainment Center) and that didn't work. I unplugged from the little box where the sensor/receiver was and it didn't work. The lights would flash for a second then go away. Occasionally now the lights would turn on dimly and shut off again, but it's frustrating that the hours I spent to perfectly hide the cords and set up the lights just for it to die a year later. It was fun for that year it worked but with the issues of the setup on the app, Alexa and now for the lights to die on me is upsetting. I gave it two stars since it lasted a while while others had it die on them after 5 months or broken out of the box, but the product isn't worth it in the end. I think I got the price out of it but for what the product says is almost false advertisement. So 2 stars and don't recommend buying, very frustrating product.
