Is the ink actually orange?

No, the ink isn't orange. The cap of the pen tells u the ink color. The orange color of the barrel means it is a fine tip unlike the clear barrel which is always a medium tip. I wish we could still get the BIC orange pens in the USA, but found I could only order then from the UK. At least BIC is still making them. I prefer ball point over rollerball or gel and love Bic, but don't buy them much since I prefer fine point pens. Too sad BIC doesn't sell in USA anymore that I could find.

The picture on the box shows the pen is orange all th way to the tip. But on picture shows a blue tip on the writing end. Is it orange to the end?

THE VERY TIP ON MY BLUE INKED PENS ARE BLUE. BLACK INKED PENS ARE TIPPED BLACK. THE TIPS ON MY RED AND GREEN INKED PENS ARE GOLD-ISH. THESE ARE MY FAVORITE BALL POINT PENS...THEY NEVER LEAK, OR SKIP...ALWAYS SMOOTH. LOVE THEM.
