Works perfectly
I recently had a hip replacement and I couldn't manage recovery without this! I bought one at a consignment shop and it was bulky and awkward. I needed help dressing and picking up everything that fell! This reacher is light weight, we'll made, sturdy, and easy to use. I can grab on to anything, clothing, books, blankets, I even did laundry with it, and picked up cracker crumbs off the carpet! I would buy this again and recommend it to any one who is limited in bending and needs assistance. I'm sure I'll be using this long after I recover!

A true extension Tool
I am a 94 year old Korean Veteran. I would be lost without my DMI reacher. It’s not hinged so one can be sure it won’t collapse or bend while using. With practice one is able to pick up even a piece of paper. It’s magnetic end make picking up metal pieces like paper clips a snap. The trigger is such you can hang it on any ledge. IT can easily grab a two pound object, and it’s length is such one can hold the trigger end and reach the grabber end. This purchase is my fifth one so I now have one in every room! Once you master it, you don’t know how you ver got along without it. A quality must have tool at aa very good price!

Works well and is a good length
I have trouble with my back and my shoulders, so reaching high and low are both difficult. These work very well and I like having a few about the house so I don't have to carry one with me just in case. The only drawback with this model that I've discovered in the few days I've had them, the claw can overlap if pulled too tight and gets stuck. It is easy to reset, but the one I already had has never done that. Good product, good price! The star rating asks about suction power. This device is not designed with suction and I knew that when I bought it, so setting suction power to 4 stars with my other ratings.

Grab bar or would I like to call my Grabby thing?
I have one just like it and I love it! Unlike some grabbers that are molded to pick up a can but they really don’t because they’re just too flimsy, these grabbers are used literally in therapy sessions at any rehab. I bought myself one a while back and I just bought my daughter one. It really helps me get my pants on, get my slippers on, get my socks on , pick up stuff from the floor… Nothing too heavy cause I don’t think they make any grabber for that. It also has a magnet on the front in case you have to pick up a screw or something magnetic. I am wheelchair-bound and it really helps me!

Try it - you’ll love it
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Recently had surgery and was instructed not to bend or twist my back for 6 weeks. I am amazed at how well this grabber works. It is lightweight and will pickup anything, and I mean anything. Much to my amazement I can pickup a single little piece of oatmeal (Quaker rolled oats) off my kitchen floor! The tip has a magnet so it’s easy to pickup a dropped paperclip, etc. Sturdy & long enough to get a bottle of pills from a high kitchen shelf. Has a secure grip on larger items that you may need to pick up. I have arthritic hands and I find the handle easy to squeeze.
